i wonder if theyre going to implement an actual DUO magic in the story??? We have only seen that mechanic on gameplay battles, but never on the characters, the plot dont even mention if they can combine magic with one another (this is what i interpret DUO magic to be, just two mages combining magic bcs they're "buddies"/have high chemistry with each other)

it would be interesting to see DUO magic to be about combining two unique magic together though 😭🙏✨ Like I can perfectly see it with Malleus and Silver UMs (since these are the only UMs we know that is very specifically related with each other lol), them casting their unique magic together AAAAA IT WOULD BE SO COOL TO SEE IT IN THE MAIN STORY 😭🙏✨

i yap sm about Silver UM complimenting Malleus' , but i also hope Silver's UM can be used with Lilia's 🥺✨ Since we know that Far Cry Cradle is a "short lived UM" like how it only reveals a little portion of memories, I'm thinking maybe Silver's UM can ground it a bit better? Technically speaking, I feel like Lilia's UM is based on conciousness (like Malleus' UM), its just that his is based on reality (instead of imagination unlike with Malleus) and it feels like he's not fully asleep, I do think he still closes his eyes when he uses this though,

I wish we could know more about Lilia's UM actually, like can Far Cry Cradle be used with other people ? (That is, can he share the memory visions with another person or is this UM requires only Lilia to see it?) Plus the fact that it can see through the past rven when Lilia knows nothing about it is intriguing, its like Malleus' UM again where we know he doesnt know a person yet his Fae of Maleficence can still create their dreams without knowing them personally, but like its even more mysterious with Lilia as we know his UM is not used on people but on objects, do objects carry memory in TWST??? Aaaa I want to know more about the technicality with intangible UMs (of Malleus, Lilia, and Silver) 🥲✨

They go elaborate on physical UMs like with Sebek and Jack (like theres details of them turning to lightning/wolf form, how it feels, how it differentiates from transforming, etc) but not so much about imaginative UMs !!

I hope the writers provide an explanation bcs I cant settle for it to be just "its just about imagination and soul" whatever lol

Characters I write for

Pink for characters I adore and love writing about because they inspire me a lot when I write. Riddle Rosehearts, Ace Trappola, Deuce Spade, Ruggie Bucchi, Kalim Al Asim, Malleus Draconia Purple for characters I can write about and for whom I sometimes have ideas to share.

Trey Clover, Cater Diamond, Leona Kingscholar, Azul Ashengrotto, Jamil Viper, Ortho Shourd, Silver Vanrouge, Crewel Blue for characters I feel insecure writing about because I find it difficult to handle them without feeling like they act out of character, but I could write them with some effort if a particular idea interests me enough.

Jack Howl, Jade Leech, Floyd Leech, Vil Shoenbeit, Idia Shourd, Lilia Vanrouge Green for characters I could write about, but not on my own initiative. Usually, requests for these characters would be valid, and I would choose the concepts that spark my inspiration to write.

Rook Hunt, Epel Felmier, Sebek Zigvolt, Trein Red for characters with whom I have conflicting concepts in my head, which means their content could become contradictory when writing. These are characters I would usually refuse to write about entirely, or only write about very rarely and for very specific things. Grim, Crowley, Vargas, Sam

One thing I notice whenever I try to come up with romantic scenes with Malleus and Silver, it just doesn't feel like stereotypically romantic that much?, like if you have them as your lover, they feel more like a friend instead (I mean that as a good thing, where they dont initiate romantic stuff like flirting with you/pda out of nowhere and even if they do express love its like so subtle like going to a place together)

its so... testament that they've been raised by Lilia, like them he is also a person who expresses his love too lowkey 😭

so his habit of being denial in love most of his life but he does it badly bcs his love still seeps on his actions passed on weirdly with Malleus and Silver as bcs of it, they have now this "weird" mix of loving someone but without using any romance to do it KDJAKFJ

sad hc i got for maleficia is that she can be quite distant with her affections bcs she feels like shes gonna lose them anyways (so her coping is the reverse of malleus, instead of keeping them, she just lets go of them to "avoid the hurt" so both Malleus and Maleficia are selfish in a different way. For Malleus, its selfish bcs hes "controlling" the life of another so that he'll avoid grieving and for Maleficia its selfish bcs she's "restraining her love so that she wont end up in grief" again

another subversion of this is that i can think that shes also distancing herself from others bcs she doesnt want to put them in anguish once she inevitably passes too (so its like what Lilia is doing but without physically leaving, feel like thats a nice way to relate to them since she's the one who took him in, like both of them have the same "last stage of parenting" lol)

although i think maleficia is an affectionate person though she consistently gifts malleus i think thats a testament that she does think of him a lot. I might be reaching but I feel like this can be related with Lilia as well?? Only Maleficia and Lilia are the only people who consistently gifts Malleus all his life

For Lilia, he gifts Malleus each time he goes on a trip, which is why its so frequent that Malleus receives one from him. But for his grandma, she gifts him only on birthdays(as we know rn), she cant leave briar valley, and we dont know if theres a lot of festivals or occasions in fae culture where it presents an opportunity for gifting others, so maybe her gifts to malleus are not as frequent as Lilia's bcs she doesnt have that much "invitations" to do so

Theres like an implication that Draconias are heavily attached to the concept of invitations like if its not invited to do so, dont do it (like how Malleus always asks for permission to join others, and how we know Maleficia is the one who taught him that it'll be rude to attend a gathering when youre not invited(paraphrased bcs i cant remember the exact line anymore))
