🐺It is fascinating how different encounters throughout one's life can change the perspective on life. After the terror reign of Naraku and the many events and people Sesshomaru has made contact with, the proud yokai has learned to tolerate even human life just slightly more. Otherwise there is just no shot that Lord Sesshomaru would have ever gotten attached so much to you, a weak human. That is at least the story Jaken often likes to remind you of whenever the two of you are alone. Is that the truth though? Sesshomaru has never spoken up about this, never denied nor confirmed it. Normally he just gives Jaken one quiet and pointed glare to immediately shut the smaller creature up. Deep down though Jaken's words are met with doubt. Sesshomaru wonders if he wouldn't have developed feelings for you if he would have met you indeed when he was still of the belief that weaker life deserved no protection and humans meant nothing. Feelings are unreliable. Thoughts and cold logic aren't. Yet when he first met you, he couldn't think. Not like he normally does. It was much more instinctual than he would like to admit, most likely because his yokai nature immediately clocked a potential mate.
🐺Why a human of all possibilities remains still a mystery to him but by now Sesshomaru has settled with that fact. He may not have been immediately comfortable with the thought of having such a weak mate by his side but instincts indeed rule over thoughts, even for a powerful yokai such as himself. As you are only human though, Sesshomaru applies much stricter rules to you as you have little power to fend for yourself. You may leave his vision but you must remain close enough so that he can still pick you up with his other senses. If fights occur you will fall back. You're not courageous if you try to fight off a yokai far too strong for you. You're just stupid and reckless then, both traits he does not tolerate. Do you seriously believe you could win against a yokai when you have no power at all? His words may not be the kindest but deep down Sesshomaru is just acting on his instincts to protect you. The fact that he is incredibly territorial should be just as obvious. You are mate. Therefor you belong to him and to no one else. His tolerance the moment anyone dares to raise their voice in protest is incredibly low. Not even Jake nor you are spared from this.
🐺Jealousy? What a puny human emotion you dare to describe with with. There is no such thing as jealousy which he would need to feel. As arguably one of the most powerful yokai out there, Sesshomaru has no need to fear potential rivals. Usually yokai respect the custom of you being his mate and therefor not trying to flirt with you, or perhaps they just respect it because you are Sesshomaru's territory. You'd think that Sesshomaru would be keen on hiding you as if ashamed to admit that a human is his mate only to figure out that he doesn't seem to care for someone's opinion at all. Sesshomaru is a very private person but he isn't embarrassed nor disappointed by the fact you just happen to be a human even if he makes you feel like it sometimes. He's just disappointed if you are being stupid and disobedient. Everything else he does very properly. He mates you, he has you wear clothes covered in his scent and he even gifts you accessories to only further claim you as his human and his mate. There are very few times where someone has dared to make any kind of advance and those rare encounters have ended with lots of blood but never death. They aren't worth that much effort.
🐺Never misunderstand though. Just because Sesshomaru spares scabbiness in such a moment doesn't imply that he spares at all. That is not the case at all. Sesshomaru doesn't take things too lightly and as a yokai of such great heritage he cannot let his reputation be doubted. Threats are to be eliminated. Everyone who dares to challenge him or stand in his way is to be eradicated. Now that Sesshomaru has a mate, those principles only expand. If someone tries to assault you and murder you, they will die through his claws. What is very jarring to you is how ruthless Sesshomaru is and just how little mercy he has. The moment anyone tries anything, they are killed. The moment plans are hatched, they are killed. A wolf knows no mercy and the most efficient method is to yank the root out completely instead of just cutting the tree. It's brutal but always coldly efficient which honestly is still very terrifying. It's perhaps also the fact that his face doesn't change at all throughout all short-lasting battles. His expression remains emotionless before, during and after the fight even when guts and blood is spilled on the ground. This is just a matter of course to keep you protected.
🐺If we look at this through classic Yandere behavior lenses, this is actually a point where Sesshomaru stands out very much. He doesn't really stay very long in one place as he instead often roams the lands with Jaken as his companion. So it isn't really an abduction in the classic sense where you are forever locked away in one place. Instead you are brought along on those travels where you often spend weeks on end sleeping outside under the stars. Jaken nitpicks you for slowing Lord Sesshomaru down which you cannot even deny. It's just a fact that you do not have the endurance and speed he possesses but as long as you don't complain when you can still walk, you never get criticised by Sesshomaru. He is good in judging when you are truly beyond your limit or just complain because you aren't used to such long stretches of walking but have still energy left to move. Consider it as an efficient method to at least make you a bit less helpless by training your endurance and your survival skills. You are even expected to learn how to handle bow and arrow and how to hunt for fish, rabbits and birds. He's your mate and not your babysitter.
🐺Inuyasha may want to have a word with his half-brother when information leaks out that Sesshomaru is mated to a human. After all it's Sesshomaru who used to shame him for his heritage as a half-demon with a human mother. Turns out that Sesshomaru is no better than his father. For all the dread Jaken has filled you with at the beginning, you discover that Sesshomaru is actually quite tolerable to be around. There are aspects you do suffer under still such as the immediate death he inflicts upon everyone who may do as much as plot your own demise or his cold and controlling attitude but it isn't the nightmare Jaken made it out to be. Sesshomaru is just very efficient and not interested in pampering you. You need to learn survival. That is perhaps though because you learn early on to fall in line and give Sesshomaru as a result not much he could be irritated about. Otherwise he would terrify you much more actively and introduce you to punishments to put you in your place. If you are under the illusion that you may outrun or outsmart him as he keeps a humanoid form, he is going to prove you very wrong. You don't want to be hunted down by his yokai form.
Yikes, that reporting issue doesn't seem fun at all.
I've only had tumblr for a year, but even then, it would be such a pain to make another blog should mine get banned. I can't imagine how it must feel for writers. Good luck, though!
-🩷 anon
Yes, it's not fun at all. I haven't been banned yet, but I've already been having problems with my personal email, which is linked to this Tumblr account.
Anyway, I've already created the new blog. So, I'm letting you know, anon. Here; @lord-nighdy-night
This is a blog post change due to the scam issue. My account has been acting a bit strange, not exactly here on Tumblr, but with the email account, and I'm very worried about it. Therefore, I created a new blog today with a different email address, and I'm letting you know so you won't be surprised by the lack of activity here, such as posting.
Well, that's all. Thank you for the attention.
My account has been wrongly reported. It's just an ordinary account for sharing works. This is obvious to everyone. If there are any problems, I will discard this account.
Now I'm posting this to see how the account is running and pray that everything remains normal. If not then I will create another account and move there. Just in case.
I will post all my works in the new account if I move. That's all. Thank you for reading.
No, way, you actually responded to me! For confirmation, yes, this is the same person who was on the last ask.
Your response may or may not have just fueled the fire for my excitement even more!
Your health is something you should take seriously, so take as much time as you need. So long as you are doing alright.
For labeling me, you can call me 🩷 anon.
Have a great day!
Thank you, dear.
Yes, I will take care of my health. It's just a relapse due to stress and having too many things on my plate, but I'll recover soon if I rest.
If you have any more questions about the Twisted Wonderland omegaverse AU, feel free to ask. I'll answer everything as long as it doesn't spoil the world-building of the AU I'm working on.
Oh, a little spoiler to get you thinking, dear.
The world-building will have three parts, or maybe a little more in total. I put a lot of thought into this AU, and I hope you're eager to read all the information.
That's all, take care dear 🩷anon~
Hello, I enjoy your works quite a bit. Especially the one about yandere Scarabia.
You pinned the dart on the target perfectly, from the overbearing love of Kalim to the weaponized vulnerability of Jamil (my all time favorite). Personally, I think you are one of the only twisted wonderland authors that depicted yandere Scarabia not just "correctly", but justifiably.
Now, I am not saying that me saying that it's justifiable is me supporting their behaviors. Oh, no way am I doing that. When I say that, I mean that you show, not tell us how they would act but even give evidence and reasoning to it. Which, I love very much.
Quite a bit ago, I saw your future posts for your blog announcement message, and couldn't help but add in my thoughts as well for the a/b/o one. Out of all of your announcements, I am the most hyped up about that idea the most.
I am not a huge fan of that genre to be honest. However, I have read some fanfiction that has it with Twisted Wonderland.
The stories usually have the reader enter Twisted Wonderland that has a secondary gender system and struggle through multiple misunderstandings. While I love the idea already, I kind of disliked how all of the readers were either omega or beta. And that caused me to think.
What if the reader was an alpha without knowing? How would the characters behave around them? Would they be more distant, or would they be more clingy?
This is just me sharing my brain worms, and you don't have to answer. Regardless, I hope that your a/b/o idea is one you also have thoussnds of light bulbs flashing for. If not, it's fine with me because I'm not the one writing, you are. Have a great day!
Well, Hello and thank you dear, I’ve had my blog somewhat abandoned due to personal health matters. But this question made me think a lot, and without a doubt I had to answer it.
The idea behind my Twisted Wonderland omegaverse AU is that Yuu—that is, the reader—is the only alpha within Night Raven College. The thing is, Yuu comes from a relatively normal world, you know? That’s what’s interesting here. This Yuu arrives in Twisted Wonderland and knows nothing about the whole alpha/beta/omega concept… like, seriously, nothing at all. They don’t even know about magic, so they’re completely lost with everything—much more so than in canon.
Now, with that, one might say: so what kind of alpha would Yuu be? Wouldn’t they just be someone normal? And this is where my idea really starts to work. Yuu arrives with a strange scent in Twisted Wonderland; everyone notices it, including the teachers and the headmaster, and they assume it’s because Yuu comes from another world. The thing is, as Yuu goes through the events of the prologue and then the first overblot they face, that scent—which everyone thought was just strange—begins to “take shape”.
It turns out that Yuu needed to spend about a week in Twisted Wonderland, eating its food, breathing its air, and being exposed to everything there—things that are all infused with magic and pheromones—for their own body to “settle” its scent. Do you remember how Crowley called Yuu a beast tamer? I took inspiration from that. In canon, Yuu had no idea what Crowley meant by that, and in this AU Yuu understands it even less when it’s said—until one day Yuu collapses and ends up in the infirmary because they feel strange and feverish.
No one understands why it happened. Ace and Deuce think it might be aftereffects of Riddle’s overblot, but when Yuu wakes up from the fever, their strange, “otherworldly” scent has solidified into what are now their alpha pheromones—extremely abundant and powerful.
The first ones to notice this are Ace and Deuce, because they’re hit full-on by Yuu’s new scent… the scent of An alpha!! It leaves the two omegas completely shocked, since they knew Yuu wasn’t from this world and had never smelled like an alpha until now!
But here’s where it gets interesting: Yuu has an oddly good level of control over their alpha pheromones once teachers like Trein and Crewel explain the situation. It only takes a potion to neutralize the newly emerged alpha pheromones, and after that Yuu handles them much better.
It’s not that Yuu immediately understands the changes in their body or this whole secondary gender system—everything is still far too strange for them—but they simplify the meaning of pheromones. In this world, pheromones are treated very seriously, with control and discipline, but Yuu thinks of them as: “Oh, it’s like the way your skin smells after you sweat? Okay, that’s natural.” Ironically, that mindset helps them control it better.
You know what’s interesting? The people who spent the most time with Yuu back when they had that strange and otherworldly scent—before it turned out to be alpha pheromones. That is, Ace and Deuce, followed by the rest of Heartslabyul, they feel more relaxed around Yuu even with their new alpha scent, which in other circumstances might have put them on edge or made them defensive.
This was especially obvious with Riddle.
No one understood why Riddle felt so relaxed and comfortable around Yuu when their alpha pheromones were under a very good control, but I don’t want to give spoilers here since I’m just talking about the idea of the au. Still, I’ll give a hint… “tamer” and “overblot.” That’s all I’ll say.
Haha, maybe I didn’t answer exactly what you wanted, anon, but I hope this little explanation makes you more interested in this Twisted Wonderland AU that I’m planning to work on (I’m already writing it, actually—first the worldbuilding with the omegaverse before getting into the boys).
If you’d like to know more or want to be more consistent in my inbox, you can use an emoji to identify yourself, anon. It might be a good idea to make a list of anons for these topics. Feel free to ask more questions about this AU. I’ll try to publish the prologue of this AU soon, so stay tuned, my dears.
Pink for characters I adore and love writing about because they inspire me a lot when I write.
Riddle Rosehearts, Ace Trappola, Deuce Spade, Ruggie Bucchi, Kalim Al Asim, Malleus Draconia
Purple for characters I can write about and for whom I sometimes have ideas to share.
Trey Clover, Cater Diamond, Leona Kingscholar, Azul Ashengrotto, Jamil Viper, Ortho Shourd, Silver Vanrouge, Crewel
Blue for characters I feel insecure writing about because I find it difficult to handle them without feeling like they act out of character, but I could write them with some effort if a particular idea interests me enough.
Jack Howl, Jade Leech, Floyd Leech, Vil Shoenbeit, Idia Shourd, Lilia Vanrouge
Green for characters I could write about, but not on my own initiative. Usually, requests for these characters would be valid, and I would choose the concepts that spark my inspiration to write.
Rook Hunt, Epel Felmier, Sebek Zigvolt, Trein
Red for characters with whom I have conflicting concepts in my head, which means their content could become contradictory when writing. These are characters I would usually refuse to write about entirely, or only write about very rarely and for very specific things.
Grim, Crowley, Vargas, Sam
I’ve been thinking more about my blog, and honestly, I realized that I’ve already chosen the way I want to work on it.
My mind has a lot to share, but I also focus heavily on my current hyperfixations (characters I really like), and that affects my writing process. Because of this, I thought my blog should reflect that.
Here, I announce the changes.
I will make lists of the fandom characters I write for. At the moment, it is only Twisted Wonderland. In the future, the fandoms I write for may expand.
When making the character lists, I will use colors for the characters’ names. Each color will mean something specific.
Pink will be for characters I adore and love writing about because they inspire me a lot when I write.
Purple will be for characters I can write about and for whom I sometimes have ideas to share.
Blue will be for characters I feel insecure writing about because I find it difficult to handle them without feeling like they act out of character, but I could write them with some effort if a particular idea interests me enough.
Green will be for characters I could write about, but not on my own initiative. Usually, requests for these characters would be valid, and I would choose the concepts that spark my inspiration to write.
Red will be for characters with whom I have conflicting concepts in my head, which means their content could become contradictory when writing. These are characters I would usually refuse to write about entirely, or only write about very rarely and for very specific things.
Continuing with the changes to the blog.
I will write many AUs. They are personally fun for me, and I have a lot of creativity that I would love to share with the world. Each AU created on the blog will have a name and a corresponding hashtag.
The AUs currently active on the blog are
Yandere AU
AUs in which the characters of Twisted Wonderland have yandere tendencies toward Yuu/Reader within what would be the main storyline.
The AUs currently pending on the blog are:
Omegaverse AU
AUs in which the characters of Twisted Wonderland have a secondary gender classification system, which is the omegaverse. All the boys are omegas and Yuu/Reader, newly arrived in this world, is the only alpha within Night Raven College.
Self-aware AU
AUs in which the characters of Twisted Wonderland become aware that their world is being presented as a game to a higher plane, which would be our world. Yuu/Reader is the Observer of this world by being the Player, which makes them a “Superior” being compared to the world that is Twisted Wonderland.
The future AUs of the blog are
In Process...
Each AU will have a brief explanation underneath describing what that universe consists of.
It’s also worth mentioning that they can be merged with each other depending on what I allow.
For example, once I publish the worldview of the Omegaverse AU, anyone could request that it be merged with the Yandere AU.
However, when doing so, an additional hashtag such as #YandereTendencies or #MixedAU will be added so they can be identified separately when searching for them on my blog.
Another aspect of my blog that will change is that I will likely post OCs here and drawings as well.
Of course, everything will have its corresponding hashtags, though I am still thinking about what names to give those hashtags.
The OCs published here will most likely be used for OC x Character content just for fun, but otherwise they will simply be OCs that may be posted from time to time when my artistic inspiration is active.
Well, that would be everything regarding the blog.
Thank you for reading, and I hope you respect the changes that will gradually take place here on the blog, my dears~
Hello Dear's please forgive the delay in writing.
I've been feeling discouraged lately because I've received accusations that my writing is like AI. I'm quite insecure about my writing because my mind is very scattered and easily distracted.
In fact, I made a post where I share the ideas I base my writing on so I don't forget what to write. Obviously, it's in my native language, which is Spanish. That's why I took longer than expected to write this post … It disturbs me to think that my writing style could even remotely resemble AI.
It's frustrating because AI steals how humans write in the first place, but now a writer like me feels even more discouraged from doing what I love because of this tool that's being misused...
And thank you very much for the good comments in private and on my posts that encouraged me to keep writing. Please excuse my rambling. I decided to write a little different from now on. Have a happy reading.
Kalim is not a sunshine boy.
That’s the first thing that needs to be torn out by the roots, like a comfortable idea the fandom keeps repeating because it’s easy, because it’s warm, because it doesn’t require looking straight ahead. Kalim shines, yes. Kalim laughs, radiates warmth, joy, noise, life. But confusing brightness with stability is a childish mistake. If one stops—if one truly stops—and looks beyond that luminous surface, what they find is not calm: it is contained pressure. A smiling emotional bomb, exactly that. A heart filled to the brim, so full it threatens to spill through the wrong cracks.
Kalim is not stupid. He never was.
He is naïve because he was never allowed to be anything else. Because growing up in a golden cage—vast, comfortable, dazzling—is still growing up in captivity. It doesn’t matter how many cushions line the floor or how much laughter softens the air: a cage is still a cage. Kalim never learned to distrust because he never had the chance to. Every threat was neutralized before it reached him. Every risk dissolved by someone else’s hands. Guards, servants, protectors, poisons tasted in advance, decisions made for him and without him. Kalim never fell. Never scraped his knees on his own. Never paid the price of a mistake that was truly his.
And that is devastating.
Because the world never taught Kalim that it is dangerous.
It taught him that there will always be someone there to save him.
That is where his way of loving is born. That is where his way of giving comes from. Kalim gives because he can. He gives because it costs him nothing. He gives because, even if he never puts it into words, he knows he lives better than others. There is guilt there, yes. Quiet guilt, buried under massive parties, endless banquets, excessive gifts, contagious laughter. Kalim doesn’t know how to balance the scale, so he floods it. If others lack, he overflows. If others are cold, he throws the doors wide open. It is his way of helping. His way of justifying himself. His way of not thinking too hard about the real price of his position.
Because Kalim does not stand out by merit. He stands out by existing.
And everyone knows it. Denying him something has consequences. It always has. Bloody ones, even, if you stop to think about it long enough. Kalim doesn’t give orders directly. He doesn’t need to. His lineage speaks for him. His blood. His name. His place in the world. Everyone around him—including Jamil—grew up knowing their lives revolved around him.
Kalim sees Jamil as an equal.
He always has. Not because he ignores Jamil’s suffering, but because to Kalim, Jamil has always been his friend, his almost brother. And there lies the tragedy: Kalim cannot understand that this closeness, this affection, this absolute trust, were also a burden. Because Kalim learned that everyone around him gave everything for him. To Kalim, that was normal. To everyone else, it was duty. A duty of life or death.
And that breaks something.
That explodes.
Jamil’s Overblot is not just betrayal. It is revelation. It is the moment the golden cage shatters, when Kalim is violently dropped onto the cold ground of a reality he had never had to walk on. Kalim sees, for the first time, that his life caused harm. That his love, even without intent, was part of the problem. At first he doesn’t understand. How could he? But when he finally does… he collapses. Horribly. Because there is no gentle way to discover that you were a wound without knowing it.
And yet—this is what matters—Kalim learns.
For the first time, he takes a step toward maturity. He starts listening more. Stops assuming. Thinks before throwing himself forward. Notices silences. Senses discomfort. Kalim chooses to remain good now that he knows the world can be horrible. And that makes him stronger than before. Because being good, when you know the cost, is an act of will. Not ignorance.
And now imagine this boy in love.
Yandere.
Most would think he’s harmless.
And he is.
But only for the one he loves.
Kalim as a yandere is terrifying precisely because no one sees it coming. Who would suspect someone so warm? Who would doubt such an open smile? Kalim falls in love like a child: pure, sweet, trembling with excitement. He shouts his love into the air. Jumps. Laughs. Feels real, intense, honest butterflies. And in that purity he decides something very simple and dangerous: to keep Yuu by his side for life.
Because Kalim can give them everything.
What Yuu lacks in that world, Kalim has. Food. Shelter. A home. Safety. Money. Influence. Connections. Protection. Kalim doesn’t see this as manipulation; he sees it as love. As care. And Yuu, surrounded by scarcity, cannot help but feel comfortable. Scarabia becomes a refuge: parties where you eat well, soft beds, gifts that can be resold if needed, constant help. Kalim is so considerate that it becomes impossible to suspect anything.
Until he learns.
After the Overblot, Kalim observes. Learns from Yuu. Pulls back when he notices discomfort in them. Everything seems healthy. Until jealousy arrives. Kalim feels it, but doesn’t know what to do with it. He smiles. Takes interest in the people Yuu spends time with. Suggests parties to meet them. But at night, alone, the silence devours him. Fear of abandonment. Kalim already knows what it is to lose a bond without losing the person physically. That happened with Jamil. And Yuu is different. He cannot order Yuu to stay.
But do you know what he can do?
Give more.
Much more.
More gifts. More time. More attention. More dedication. More warmth. Because if someone else can make Yuu happy, then Kalim must do it better. It’s that simple. And that’s where his desperation is born: a pure, bleeding heart that does not know how to love without expanding until it occupies everything.
“Stay a little longer.”
“You’re safe here.”
“Aren’t you happy with me?”
It’s not a threat. It never would be. It’s a plea.
And within that plea, without realizing it, Kalim manipulates. Not with malice, but with tenderness. He offers to sleep together if Yuu misses home. Holds them tight. Keeps them company in silence. And when Yuu sleeps, Kalim does not smile. He watches them. Caresses their face. The butterflies in his stomach stir, restless. He thinks it’s love. But it’s soft, dark possessiveness, fermenting quietly.
Kalim wants to be the reason Yuu smiles.
The reason they laugh.
The reason they stay.
And if someone tries to pull Yuu away—Crowley, magic, destiny—Kalim intervenes. With money. With influence. He moves the world so that nothing changes.
Without knowing it, Yuu becomes a cause of Kalim’s growth. Dark, yes. But growth nonetheless. Kalim becomes smarter, more aware of how to use what he has. And with Yuu he remains bright, affectionate, joyful. Maybe too much. Long hugs. Resting his head on their chest as if that were the center of the universe.
And when Yuu tries to pull away, Kalim breaks. He looks hurt. He blames himself while he cries and tremble. And Yuu stays because it feels right. Because Kalim has always been good to them. And so, without realizing it, Yuu learns that leaving hurts. That staying soothes. That distance feels like betrayal.
“Stay here.”
“You don’t have to leave yet.”
“Please… don’t leave me.”
Kalim only calms down when Yuu comes back. He hugs them tightly. Cries in relief. Smiles. Happy. Truly happy. And in his eyes there is a glint that Jamil sees. One that disturbs him. Because it is not the glint of the sun.
It is the glint of something much more darker.
“I don’t want to force you to stay, Yuu. I just… let me be the place you always want to return to.”
Listen carefully: Jamil Viper was not raised to be seen.
He was raised to function. To anticipate other people’s mistakes, to put out fires before they ever caught, to exist on the margins without leaving a trace. He was shaped to be Kalim’s protective shadow, the presence that holds everything together without ever asking for anything in return. So when someone—Yuu—truly looks at him, Jamil doesn’t know what to do with that. Not because he doesn’t want it. But because he doesn’t understand it.
Jamil does not trust spontaneous affection. He never has, and he never will. He learned that the hard way. There’s no need to go into details: it’s enough to know that he suffered because of Kalim’s naïveté when they were young, that Kalim’s blind trust put Kalim—and Jamil himself—in danger. Jamil learned like this: not by making mistakes of his own, but by covering for someone else’s recklessness. He learned that loving means anticipating, that caring means staying ahead of disaster and that surviving means controlling.
And yet, with Yuu, something is different.
Not all at once. Never all at once.
Jamil lowers his guard only around Yuu. At first, it’s barely noticeable: a longer exhale, a less calculated response, a sentence that slips out before he can stop it. Casual remarks tossed into the air while he’s doing something else, as if they carried no weight:
“If you’re tired, sit down. I’ll finish this.”
“It’s not a bother. I was going to do it anyway.”
“You didn’t eat much. I served you more.”
And then he goes back to what he was doing. As if nothing happened.
That’s Jamil: one of those serious men who suddenly lets something terrifyingly sweet slip… and then keeps going as if he hadn’t exposed his heart for a single second.
This is after the whole Overblot mess. Before that—when Jamil was consumed by the poison of everything he had buried—he did, for a moment, hate Yuu. But even then, he was mature enough to understand: Yuu was only trying to survive, and that was not a sin. Jamil would have done the same. He understood it perfectly. That’s why, after the incident, with Yuu he feels seen without being reduced. And that feeling is addictive.
The problem is that Jamil doesn’t know how to love without controlling, because control was the only way he ever learned to survive. So when the affection deepens, when that viscous knot forms in his stomach—that fear of losing the only thing that doesn’t demand anything from him—his mind does what it does best: prevent. Prevent any harm from reaching Yuu. Especially from those annoying types who might dare to intimidate them for whatever reason. Jamil takes care of them.
Huh? Did you think you heard a snake?
That’s strange… There are no snakes here.
If Yuu asks about those strange things happening around them, Jamil answers without hesitation:
“I didn’t do anything wrong. I just… took care of you. They were being annoying.”
And he means it. Because in his mind, to love is to anticipate harm. To love is to keep the world from touching you.
Jamil’s jealousy is not explosive. It’s internal, silent, camouflaged. It sits in his chest like hot sand and slowly rots him from the inside, like a poison that’s too strong. So when Yuu seems distant—not cold, just busy—Jamil doesn’t react with anger. He reacts with something worse: calculated vulnerability. Not fake. Real. Jamil knows how to use it because he knows it intimately.
He lowers his voice. He looks tired. He says things he would never say to anyone else—because he knows Yuu was there when no one else could help him:
“Sometimes… I think about what would’ve happened if you hadn’t been there during my Overblot. I might be dead, right?”
“I’m not used to someone taking the time to help me.”
“You don’t have to stay with me… but… thank you for doing it.”
Yuu stays. Because they feel Jamil deserves it. Because he’s been through too much. Because Jamil gives a lot. Because he sounds honest—and he is. It’s just that Jamil knows how to use his honesty for his own benefit.
In those quiet nights, with no parties and sweet comforting silence—Jamil allows himself small gestures he would never show in public. A hand resting a second longer than necessary. A blanket carefully adjusted. A long look when he thinks Yuu isn’t watching. Jamil doesn’t smile much. But when Yuu sleeps nearby, when they visit Scarabia at Kalim’s invitation—which happens often—Jamil relaxes in an almost imperceptible way. As if, for once, the world couldn’t reach him.
And if one day Yuu truly tries to leave, Jamil won’t stop them physically. He would never do that. He’ll just look at them, serious, with that dangerous calm, and say something simple, devastating:
“If you leave… I’ll understand. But this place could become a home for you.”
It’s not a threat. Jamil doesn’t need one.
It’s a burden. It’s manipulation. And it works.
Because when Yuu hesitates—they always come back—and Jamil welcomes them the same way as always: with the same low voice and the same meticulous care to make them comfortable again.
Jamil doesn’t want to be the center of Yuu’s world.
But he longs for it with his entire being.
He’s never had anything of his own (Even his own body is for use to proteccion for another). That’s why he yearns to have Yuu as something exclusively his, something no one can take away. For someone like Jamil, that’s the closest thing to love. And it’s his silent, absolute downfall.
Jamil is terrifying as a yandere because he is starving for affection and validation, and Yuu gives it to him. They seek him out, trust him, recognize how capable he is.
Jamil is possessive. He’s frightening because of his unique magic. And yet, after the Overblot, he feels deeply guilty for having used that magic on Yuu. That’s why he would absolutely refuse to ever use it on them again. On others… that’s another story. On others, he would use it without hesitation. So subtly like a snake ready to strike.
Jamil is like a snake. Some are harmless, beautiful, exotic; others, just as beautiful, are venomous. Jamil is like that: venom for everyone else, harmless to Yuu. Yuu is his source of warmth. And like a proper snake, Jamil coils, tightens and does not let go.
Never.
And Jamil almost instinctively conquers Yuu through something basic: food. He cooks like a professional. For someone who might lack a warm meal, something delicious is paradise on earth. And Jamil offers it naturally, casually, with leftovers from banquets, with measured ease.
An old saying went “First the stomach,” And with Jamil, it works. Yuu still remembers, though. They remember the broken trust, the magic used on them. They distrust Jamil’s eyes. That hurts. But Jamil understands.
He works toward redemption patiently. He knows he involved Yuu when they didn’t deserve it. He knows that just as he was born a servant to Kalim’s family, Yuu crossed paths with him by chance and was used without being able to stop it.
That’s why he’s gentler. That’s why he’s sweeter. That’s why he feels at ease when Yuu begins to trust him again, even when they avoid his gaze out of fear. Jamil knows. It’s trauma. And still, Yuu trusts him. They see him in a good light when Jamil is just Jamil.
And Jamil tightens his coils a little more. Because a snake does not let its prey escape.
“I won’t claim your heart—but I will protect it. From the world and even from yourself.”
From now on, at the end of each post of this length, I will write down my ideas in other post in the same way I jot them down in my notes for my writing (Just one character). This way you can see the pure and initial analysis that I do before writing each piece of writing, before writing it in a way that is more beautiful to read.
I can't do it here because Tumblr has a character limit per post, so yes. But here it is, I'll leave the link.
Yandere main ideas Scarabia.
Apologies to a dear I told I would upload this post yesterday, but the hospital doesn't have good internet in general. But here's the post, I hope you enjoy it~
Kalim isn't exactly a sunshine. Listen, putting aside the fandom's beliefs about Kalim and all, I think he's one of the characters who suffers from more off-screen content than many others. Why? Because everyone only takes one side of Kalim and doesn't go any further. Kalim is bright, optimistic, cheerful, and bubbly in personality—literally like a beautiful sun—but if you look beyond that, if you look deeper, you'll find an emotional bombshell with a smile, good heavens. This guy has so much inside that it seems absurd to me that many writers don't explore it. Listen, Kalim isn't stupid; he's naive because he wasn't allowed to be anything else. It's that simple. I just have to say one thing: a gilded cage. That's what Kalim grew up in—an immense and very comfortable gilded cage, but one that ultimately keeps you captive. Kalim doesn't know it, he doesn't notice it. The game itself mentions unpleasant experiences like poisonings against him and other unstated threats, but what can one imagine if you consider that Kalim literally says he lived surrounded by people whose job it was to protect him before or after harm occurred? Kalim was overprotected and his autonomy was literally taken from him, and because of this, he isn't capable of the necessary development to see the evil around him, because his world was always within his gilded cage where all risk was completely neutralized. Therefore, Kalim never faced consequences that would make him mature and understand that the world is dangerous, and especially dangerous for someone like him who is naive and pure. Do you know why Kalim is so ostentatious and gives so much? Let me tell you that the most likely answer is that it's because Kalim is aware that he lives better than others, and knowing this, he involuntarily feels the need to do something for those others. Kalim feels guilt. Yes, guilt, the guilt he displays by being warm, bright, and ostentatious, throwing lavish parties, banquets, and showering everyone with affection because he can afford it, because it costs him nothing. It's his way of helping others, of giving them something they might lack. Kalim knows he doesn't stand out for merit or achievement; he stands out and is loved simply for being himself. No one would deny that he's good at something because they can't. Denying him anything would come at a price, and it would surely be bloody, considering that everyone around Kalim, including Jamil, are people who must serve him—mere servants, slaves. Kalim owns them, not directly, but indirectly; that position is in his blood, in his lineage. It's that simple. And I can't help but think of Jamil when I see Kalim. Kalim sees Jamil as an equal; he always has, not because he ignores his suffering, but because for Kalim, Jamil always was and always will be his friend. The thing is, Kalim's naiveté prevents him from understanding that being so close to Jamil causes his friend difficulties, and that's because Kalim learned that everyone around him would give their all for him. For Kalim, it's normal, but for others, it's a duty, a matter of life or death. This led to Jamil's breakdown and also to Kalim's realization. Kalim saw that his life caused harm, that his love caused this, that he was part of the problem even when he didn't know it. Kalim doesn't understand at first, but when he does, he collapses horribly. It's like breaking his gilded cage and tearing him out of the bubble in which he saw the world and throwing him onto the cold, cruel ground that is reality… but here, here comes the important part: Kalim learns. Kalim becomes aware of all this, of what he unknowingly caused, and although guilt consumes him for not having realized, for having been so blind until now in his life, it makes him mature.
For the first time in his life, he was able to take his first step toward maturity, and this is where Kalim grows internally, becoming more conscious, no longer assuming everything as before, thinking and listening more. This is how Kalim chooses for himself to remain good even when he now knows that the world around him can be horrible. Kalim becomes stronger here because being good isn't easy; being good is being strong because now he knows what it costs to be good in the world. Now imagine this boy as a Yandere in love. Most would think he's harmless. Yes, they're right, he is harmless… but only to his beloved. Kalim as a Yandere is scary, very, very scary. He's terrifying because who would think that such a cheerful boy could be a pure and innocent emotional manipulator? Kalim is a desperate Yandere. When Kalim falls in love with Yuu, it's like a child's infatuation—pure and sweet. Kalim is overjoyed, jumping around and shouting his love. He feels butterflies in his stomach, and that's when he decides to have Yuu by his side for life. Kalim can give Yuu everything, especially what he needs most. Yuu lacks so much in that world, but Kalim has it all: food, shelter, a home, power, money, influence—believe it or not. Kalim can give Yuu all of that and more to keep him with him. Furthermore, Kalim is so warm, so loving, so cheerful and bright that Yuu can't help but feel comfortable in his company, with his kindness, like when they invite him to parties in Scarabia so they can eat well, so they can sleep comfortably, like when Kalim gives them surprise gifts that he can resell for money he might need at any time, like when Kalim offers him all his help if needed, except for his studies, but Kalim would do his best to help! Kalim is so pure that truly, no one would ever think he's dangerous. But they don't know that Kalim also began to learn after Jamil's overblot. Kalim innocently learns from Yuu and showers them with affection, gifts, and attention. He backs away when they're uncomfortable, and everything seems fine… until Kalim starts to feel jealous. Because yes, Kalim feels jealous, but he doesn't know what to do about it. He keeps it to himself. Outwardly, he doesn't seem jealous; he's smiling, cheerful, and curious about who Yuu spends time with and wants to meet them at a party. But when Kalim is alone, darkness slowly begins to creep into his mind in the night's silence—a fear of abandonment. Kalim already knows that his bond with Jamil, no matter how much he wants to fix it and recover it, is broken… he was abandoned emotionally, but not physically. But Yuu is different. Kalim can't order them to stay, he can't buy them, he can't lock them up, or protect them forever… Kalim can't do that. But you know what he can do? Give more. Kalim gives so much more. His fear of abandonment, his jealousy, leads to overcompensation for Yuu: more gifts, more time together, more surprises, more parties in her name, more of everything. Because if someone else can make them happy, then Kalim has to do it better. It's that simple. Herein lies the desperation of Kalim's pure, bleeding heart, a desperate and innocent Yandere… Kalim starts saying things like, "Stay a little longer." "You're safe here." "Aren't you happy with me?" It's not a threat, it never would be; Kalim isn't like that. It's a pure and sweet plea wrapped in a smile. It's fear. And without realizing it, Kalim is emotionally manipulating Yuu in a very innocent way…he is so warm, friendly, and sweet with Yuu that Yuu would never suspect anything, because Kalim takes care of them and gives them everything to make them feel good, even offering to sleep with them if they want company at night because they miss their home. How welcoming and considerate of him!
Kalim hugs them tightly and silently accompanies them if they ask, and they sleep with him…unaware that Kalim doesn't smile when they are asleep, but instead stares at them and caresses their faces…the darkness makes the butterflies in his stomach flutter, and Kalim thinks it's just him loving them so much, when in reality the butterflies are stirring to escape the rotten darkness of gentle possessiveness and manipulation. Kalim's desire is to merge with Yuu, and he feels a need to have everything about him close, to be the reason Yuu smiles, laughs, enjoys life, and is happy in this world. And if anyone tries to take Yuu away—Crowley, magic, fate—Kalim intervenes. With money. With influence. With diplomatic smiles. The yandere who doesn't kill…but moves the world so that nothing changes. Yuu, unknowingly, would be one of the causes of Kalim's growth, even if it's something dark. Kalim would grow and become more intelligent, using what he has to his advantage, but with Yuu, he would always be the same: bright, affectionate, and as cheerful as ever, perhaps a little more affectionate than usual, with long hugs and resting his head on Yuu's chest as if Yuu were the center of his universe—which is what Kalim thinks, while Yuu hugs him back because they believe Kalim is this affectionate by nature, and how could they reject him when they've given so much? And when Yuu shows signs of wanting to distance themself a little from Kalim… Kalim appears hurt and worried, especially when they sincerely think they did something wrong. Yuu comforts them because it seems as if Kalim would break down without them, and ironically, Kalim remembers his fear of being abandoned. Yuu thinks it's all due to the guilt Kalim silently carries over the Jamil incident and his overblot, that Kalim clings to them tightly because they helped him then, and they feel bad without them… when that's not the case. But if it means they'll stay, Kalim uses it, tearfully and with a trembling voice, “Stay here.” “You don't have to leave yet. Please… don't leave me.” Kalim only calms down when Yuu stays with him, and the next day he cling to Yuu because he is still sensitive. Yuu kindly stays because caring for Kalim feels right and comfortable… so warm that, without realizing it, the idea slowly takes root in Yuu's mind. When Yuu says they want to leave, and Kalim looks at them with a trembling smile and teary eyes, but they give them permission (which isn't real, it's just a charade) to go, Yuu instinctively stops because they feel this is like betraying Kalim, who have been nothing but good to them… and they don't want to be ungrateful, so they go back. Yuu hugs and comforts Kalim again, and Kalim hug them back tightly… and smile happily, truly happy and relieved as they sob… but there's a dark glint in their eyes that Jamil notices and, for the first time, it disturbs him… before he sees Kalim with puppy-dog eyes being comforted by a very sweet Yuu… “I don't want to force you to stay, Yuu. Just… let me be the place You'll always want to come back to."

Here just some of my translate ramblings, for this post. I speak to myself for my future self for guide.
I see Riddle as a boy who is somewhat naive in certain aspects, and without a doubt, he's completely clueless about romantic love. That's why when he falls in love, he doesn't realize it until it's too late and too obvious for everyone else. But the problem with loving but not knowing how, due to his traumas, is that he doesn't realize when his love is strange. I see Riddle not killing immediately, not having a thirst for blood. He's a relatively tame yandere, but emotionally unstable. He's greedy for Yuu's love. He could become like a spoiled child if Yuu shows him pure love, perhaps not even love, but a sincere, intimate, and affectionate friendship. Riddle is obsessed with warmth and desires it constantly, but he respects Yuu as an individual. It's somewhat strange for a yandere, but that's how it is, because Riddle doesn't lose his mind; he simply doesn't recognize that his love is different—dark and suffocating. I feel that Riddle truly becomes He's indulgent with Yuu because he doesn't see how his beloved could do any wrong… I don't know, I think he could gently scold Yuu for mistakes like forgetting or breaking a rule of the Queen of Hearts, but the scolding is so light it seems more like a reminder than a reprimand… because Riddle knows that Yuu doesn't do it with bad intentions, and that a harsh scolding without reason does more harm than good… which he doesn't want to cause, especially not in someone he loves… Heavens, he's like a precious child I want to hug!!!
Trey is an older brother. That's all, period. It's just his energy, I can't say more, like he gives off that warm, protective, and loving aura, watching over everyone, and everyone in Heartslabyul feels safe with him, and… it's really scary to think he might be a Yandere, because well, nobody would suspect the good older brother, right? Ugh, that's scary… so technically, due to some kind of confusion or mistake, his protective feelings, which to everyone seem like those of an older brother, actually become those of a potential boyfriend protecting his possible future beloved. I also think that Trey wouldn't force Yuu to love him; he couldn't, it would feel so out of character. Darling deserves to be happy; that's Trey's creed. Like a good older brother, he ignores his own feelings and wants everyone's happiness. Trey wants that for them too, maybe not as a couple by her side, although that's what he desires most. But Trey wants to be there, present in Yuu's life. And ironically, I see that Trey could accept not having Darling's love, but he would still be in their life as an ultra-dedicated protector, always, ALWAYS a second option in the face of unexpected misfortune (an opportunist, haha). A perfect second option that will bring so much comfort that Darling could choose, and Trey will make sure to keep them safe from all harm, not from the shadows, but upfront, because he won't let Darling suffer while they are with him. Wow, it's weird to think of him like that…
And soo on, I can't fit all that here, because..weird enough tumblr do not permit it(? they are not too long...but tumblr is acting weird. But yeah..these are some of my notes, my ideas from were I inspire myself to write all my works with (the rest of heartslabyul, savanaclaw and octavinielle don't fit here..). Even when my mind is a mess. Maybe should I write just like this? Will be okay? I write more "novel-like" type of thing with character analysis because I feel is more pretty to read..but write like this is good too..
What makes you think that? Are you referring to the way I do the character analysis? Or my writing style?
Anon, AI steals writers' writing styles. But honestly, comments like that don't surprise me.
I guess my writing gave you a strange feeling? I usually summarize my ideas, write them down in my notes, formulate them over and over, and search high and low for connecting words that sound appropriate.
It feels awful to know my writing gives off an AI vibe. It's terrifying. Good heavens…
Here's a picture of my Word document where I have my ideas scattered before I start writing… (This is in Spanish, my native language.)
This made me feel incredibly insecure about my writing. And terrified of artificial intelligence.
Is a machine really capable of expressing as many emotions as a human being? This idea scares me, especially since I'm already so insecure about my writing.
Because you wouldn't believe how many university papers I've had rejected, assumed to be AI because they're well-written… just so they can see me write them from scratch in person and confirm that's how I write.
This makes me think it's better to stop writing altogether if the world today calls everything well-written AI every time, even when it isn't… What a way to discourage a writer…
