have a presentation due at the end of this month and one of my upcoming assignments is to STORYBOARD the presentation?? does anyone who works a job where you're presenting regularly actually do this (assuming the presentation isn't about something where storyboarding is necessary e.g. animation or whatever)
the last book you…
thank you @secifosseluce for not not tagging me so i could consider myself as tagged ;) and to @romeroverde bc actually it was your post that made me want to do this first (then i forgot. sorry) <3333
bought — The purchase of the North Pole and Dick Sand, A Captain at Fifteen and The Mighty Orinoco by Jules Verne (all used), bc they were sold at like 3 euros each and i really liked the editions
borrowed — The Book of Animal Ignorance. Another Quite Interesting Book by John Mitchinson and John Lloyd
was gifted — Something That May Shock and Discredit You by Daniel Mallory Ortberg
gave/lent to someone — a collection of Bertold Brecht's poems (lent)
started — other than the one i was gifted and the one i borrowed, i've started The Island by Gary Paulsen, The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma by Bessel van der Kolk and La grammatica di Dio. Storie di solitudine e allegria by Stefano Benni
finished — The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner
gave five stars — honestly i dont remember well anymore but i think Pianissimo by Camillo Sbarbaro and My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness by Kabi Nagata
gave two stars — oh i really dont know. skip! oh no wait i read this book last summer i really didnt like though maybe i would have given it a star instead of two idk it's Comunque vada non importa by Eleonora C. Caruso
didn’t finish — so so so many. mostly bc i start too many, but also i dont consider the others as left unfinished but rather just. there. ill get back to them. eventually
