In Kaiden, all vampires are telepathically connected. And recently, I changed their eyes to compound eyes so they have millions of tiny eyes like dragon flies!!!

Vasu is a female dwarf in Kaiden. She is a mother and head of her house(the dwarfs are divided into houses kind of like clans). She gave up on being the head and went to school after she was denied the position of empress. She is still fighting for it but she is also fulfilling her dream of graduating in a subject that is not relevant to her house.

I don’t remember how much I talked about them??? So i’m just gonna start again?
Kai got disowned by his father because reasons and he is angry so he leaves Cimori and travels around for a bit before going to Duiskt, the human empire. In one of their open cities(the rest of them are closed to outsiders), he sees a little bakery wedged between two buildings. It has a cheery little chalk sign that reads ‘today’s special blood honey cakes delicious enough to make the vampire king bow’ Kai decides to test them out. Two years later, he is married to the baker, Rishik and they have a soft domestic life for about sixty years(kai is around 160 at the time they met and Rishik was about 23. Kai just lost his first fangs and spent the first decade with Rishik with his second fangs slowly growing in(rishik was very fascinated)). Kai wanted to sneak into the other empires using his fanglessness as a shield and humans were easy cause they look so alike but if he is found he would be put to death so he was basically throwing away his life but after he found Rishik, he gave up on that plan and chilled for a bit. They traveled a lot together, never had any children but did help a lot of lost kids with food and money. Kai invited his siblings to the first wedding but not his father. His father retaliated by not letting his mother leave(his dad is a douchebag). Then Rishik passed from old age. They had fun right until the last moment tho. That was Kai’s first funeral. He cut off all of his hair for Rishik(altho Cimorian funerals only ask for nine fingers width for a spouse).
Then he drifted around for almost a century but the pain didn’t end until he found drugs. He got super addicted. His brothers came and kicked his ass and took him back. They convinced their father(the vampire king) to give him lands and his title as prince back. His dad still hates him so he gives him The Cluster aka a densely packed bunch of islands north of Cimori. It’s huge mostly unexplored and home to some of the worst gangs and criminals of Cimori. Kai shrugs it off and goes to live there. Then he relapses but this time he is found face down in a ditch by Petra. He doesn’t know she is the leader of one of the worst gangs of the cluster and she gets him back to her HQ and puts him through a strict regimen to snap him out. Initially she plans to ransom him but she falls for him just like he falls for her. It’s an insane slow burn but they get married almost as soon as they confess their love. They are a fucking power couple and they are also selfish and a bit cruel sometimes. They get most of the cluster under their control and kick ass. They also travel a lot and have two kids, Nala and Levi. Kai is amazing dad. Petra is the actual cool mom. Nala follows her aunt Sini to become a spy. Levi is a cartographer who just wants to see every place ever.
Here’s a small excerpt I may or may not keep.
Petra made a delicious mint flavored blood brothfor our two hundredth anniversary. It had remained my favorite dish since. Theonly thing that ever compared was Rishik’s honey blood cakes. Those were thereason we met. He had advertised that his cakes could bend even a vampireprince and they really had. For almost a hundred years, they had kept me withhim. I didn’t try to make them for a very long time after. But after her giftof broth, I made them for Petra on our two hundred and fiftieth anniversary.She was floored like I expected and demanded I make them again and again overthe years. We experimented with the flavors just like I had done with Rishikadding spices and sweets to the cakes until we had a recipe that was our ownsecret.

I’m obviously going to describe Kaiden!
Kai is brown. Not too dark skinned but not light skinned either. He had nice long hair but cut it off after the war for his family’s funeral(hair is burnt during funerals worldbuilding!). So now he has kind of a buzzcut. Black hair. Black eyes. Kinda long nose. He dimples but only on one cheek. He doesn’t have a lot of scars but he is rougher than his royal siblings because he got disowned and left Cimori. He wears his wedding rings from his first marriage to Rishik(he is human so it was human wedding with rings) and a pearl Petra gave him during his second marriage(she is a vampire so they trade earned presents in the wedding she dove for the pearl herself). He got addicted to some vampire drugs(i forgot the name i gave them oops) after his husband died and ended up in the worst places of Cimori. He has some scars from that time but only if you look carefully. His fangs are pretty long and curve inward slightly like a saber tooth tiger’s(they are retractable and fold back into the roof of the mouth).

mmmmmmmmmm probably? idk?
2. What kind of poster(s) would your oc have on their wall?
Kai would have some emo shit. Jules would have Moira? Aux is too poor for posters.

Kai will be torn between going back to Rishik, going back to stop his son from fighting in the war(Kai sends him) or going back to save his sister. He fuckt up a lot of things but Rishik is the only happy option he chose selfishly.

I don’t think so?

Kai reads a lot. Levi(Kai’s son) loves cartography. Sacrus paints.
6. What inspired one of your favorite ocs?
mmmmmmmmmmmmmm i don’t have a fav oc. I love all of them! And they were all inspired by different things?
7. What kind of clothes does your oc like to wear?
Kai usually prefers casual comfy clothes, Jules is the same but she is also kinda poor so she prefers casual comfy in budget. But casual comfy is very different in these two worlds.

No. except for Moira maybe? She is a sappy lesbian.
9. If you took your ocs for one story and put them in an au, what au would you choose?
oh boi! Kai and Rishik already have a modern au thanks to @julesdap Rishik works in a bakery so it is super easy to make it modern.

Kai is terrified of losing his family. He already lost Rishik and it was too painful to bear. But he slowly came back and found love again but if he loses his kids, he will be completely gone.

Fantasy. I’m just so tired of the misogyny, racism and homophobia. So fuckinh tired.

oh boi. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I don’t know????????? My stories don’t have a lot of romance or smut in them?(Not against either in other’s stories I’m just not good at storylines involving romance?)
4. What is the one thing you most want a fan to say someday?
idk I’m pleased by the smallest things. Just an I love your stories is more than enough for me. But what I truly want is the insanely detailed meta that fandoms produce like wow never planned that but thats neat kind of meta you know?

Kai i think? ik everyone will hate aux cause she is a confident female character. But I’ve seen people fall in love with kai so easily lmao.
6. Were your OCs born naturally, with pharmaceutical assistance, or via c section?
I’m not sure if you are asking in canon or if this is some kind of metaphor?
But in canon, kai was natural.
Fun side note tho: I have a whole world (it’s in the ideas folder for now. I haven’t written anything for it I think.) in which the difference between c-sections and natural births are really important and kind of form the basics of world building and the magic an individual can have.
7. What is the single emotion that is the absolute hardest for you to write? (loneliness, loss, hopelessness, joy, etc)
uhhh hopelessness is the hardest cause it hits me hard. But actually writing it is easy cause I feel it so much?
8. If your OC were a cookie, what sort of cookie would they be?
Kai would be oatmeal chocolate chip cookie
9. How important do you think it is to describe a character’s appearance?
I tend to go under than over with physical descriptions. But that changes with the POV. Kai files away important info especially strength and societal position and hidden weapons because of his past. But Sacrus on the other hand is attracted to the shiniest part of a person(as in the most attractive like a brilliant smile or pretty hair or twinkling eyes) because his artist brain is already figuring out how to put it on paper.
10. And, spitballing off that, which OC do you think is the prettiest?
ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm they are all pretty in their own ways but the thing is none of them are conventionally(read euro centric) beautiful.

kai would go for blood obviously, he wouldn’t really pick something salty unless he is in pain because salt is a vampire painkiller in my verse, he would totally go for cakes tho(sweet tooth idiot) preferably something blood flavored.
Your absolute most evil OC is startled by a toaster popping. What happens next?
the evilest of my ocs is an otherwordly eldritch horror that sucks life magic and color out of the world so uhh it would probably destroy the toaster?
Your sweetest OC goes up to the McDonald’s counter to get their order only to discover that after twenty minutes of waiting, the order is wrong, and this is the third time this has happened today. What happens next?
I don’t really have sweet ocs tbh but the closest is sel who would just accept his fate and drink the wrong drink. He would probably tip them too. But if it happens to someone he loves the barista would probs get a strong talking to and the drink returned(he would compensate with a bigger tip tho).
One of your OCs is in a Disney animated movie. What’s the “big” song of that movie? (Pocahontas’ was “colors of the wind,” Aladdin was “a whole new world,” Hercules was “zero to hero” etc.
None of them are straight enough to be in disney movies but kai would probs be let it go(sorry but it kind of fits him?)
Do you think having to write while stuck out in the wilderness by yourself (in a heated cabin, food and water but no wifi, tv, or phone service) would help or hurt?
help probably? unless i get terrified. For someone who loves isolation I sure am a wuss.
But not having wifi might hurt cause sometimes i get fixated on one little detail and it would help to just get it out of my system(like naming a character or some fact) by just looking it up.
