"Vei" has its flaws but I still love their take on the Norse gods, visually speaking.
They do a good job at turning them into villains, while keeping the original vibes and aesthetic of divine beings of awe and wonder. They are definitively fucked-up, manipulative, creepy psychopaths, but they still arrive as sublime, magical beings on a majestic and radiant rainbow bridge
It is the type of "villain of wonders" aesthetic I like. Colorful, heavenly horror. You know they are the wicked ones from the first frame of them appearing, but they are still "mighty in magnificence".
