She is from Thailand. Natty came to South Korea when she was only 11 years old. She thus can speak Korean, Thai and English pretty well.
Natty trained at SM Entertainment for 1-2 years before joining JYP Entertainment. Natty made her first public appearance on Mnet’s survival show Sixteen at 13 years old. She was eliminated and thus did not debut in Twice, but continued as a trainee for JYP Ent. At age 15, she participated on Mnet’s survival show Idol School. She was previously under S2 Entertainment’s sub-label, Aura Entertainment. She still continues to write and compose music for both her group and other groups.
