Dog or cat person: Both, but a bit more of a cat person because I like the idea of curling up with a cat while I do stuff and neither of us needing to get up until responsibilities call (I don’t like going outside ;-;)

Blankets you sleep with: Usually just my top cover, sometimes my fluffy blanket when I’m cold or just really want fluffy

Dream trip: A relaxed trip to just explore somewhere in Europe or Japan would be fun! Or, better yet, a relaxed trip where money isn’t an issue and I can visit my internet friends! It would kind of end up an ‘around the world’ trip, but that’s fine by me!

Why I made a Tumblr: I made my first Tumblr account I think to get involved on more fandom content? I don’t really remember why. But I made this one because I was inspired by @fishandships and they introduced me to the concept of self-shipping and it explained a lot about myself, so I wanted to try and embrace it!

Reason for my URL: It’s pretty straightforward, I have a lot of love to give! Plus I realize it would work as a reference to that Ponyo meme XD

Golden - Favorite stationary product?

Well, I usually have a handful of mechanical pencils scattered around my room and various bags, but I like to write with these blue pens that are suuuuper smooth. I just don’t do a lot of hand writing because it’s a lot slower than typing ^-^’’ I also have a reaaaally cool dragon pen + stand that my dad got me for Christmas this year!!

Hmmm... there’s a couple that I really enjoy. The Rock, Neil Patrick Harris, Bex Taylor Klaus, Josh Keaton, Neil Kaplan.... a lot of people!

Plush - How many stuffed animals do you still own?

Too many ^-^’’ I’m terrible about getting rid of stuff, and I’ve always kind of... personified? Projected personalities and life on my toys? So I don’t think I’ve ever gotten rid of any... multiple shelves full, but I only ever hold on to a handful of them, and sleep with my Pumpkaboo one.

My love of dragons (which likely led to my love of most monstrous beings) is because I was born the year of the Dragon in the Chinese Zodiac, so my mother has always associated me with Dragons. Fine by me!

Thimble - Is there somebody you look up to? Who are they?

I actually have a lot of people I look up to! For example, @fischotterkunst and @flargablarga ! They’re both amazing artists and wonderful friends, and I always look forward to talking to them! I also admire their ability to keep going, even if things are stressful and draining. 

I also look up to my Mom, because she’s  gone through a lot in life and she’s pushed through, and she’s in a great spot right now, making the best of everything she has. I want to be strong like all of them. :)

People tend to assume that I'm like, super innocent I think? I don't really know what people assume about me honestly! XD

Cow - Do you prefer the city or the country?

A little bit of both? I like the country because it's quiet and private and somewhat more familiar for me, but I'm also not an outdoorsy person, and I like how things are relatively close together in the cities! That's where the mall is! XD

Artists Asks!

15. Biggest artist pet peeve?

Oh boy... I'm not really sure? If I had to guess, and assuming it means 'pet peeve centered around being an artist', it's having to prove to people that digital art (my preferred method) requires just as much work as traditional art.

This pisses me off enough to the point last semester for a drawing class I did an entire comic in digital, AND recorded me working on it, AND made it into a speedpaint to prove it to the professor.

16. What's the most daunting part of your process? Ex, planning, sketching, lineart, rendering, etc.

I'd have to say sketching? Because of the fact that I'm not happy with my art style yet and it takes me so long to get it to something I'm satisfied enough with to move on to lineart. I need to work on anatomy more, and I spend more time sketching / worrying about it than I do most any other step (Aside from coloring, but that's kind of a given with how I do it, and it's methodical enough that it doesn't bother me)
