1. I trained and worked with the Budweiser Clydesdales when I was younger
2. I’ve lived in California, Colorado, Florida, Texas, Rhode Island, Virginia, Utah, Pennsylvania, & Arizona
3. My favorite place I’ve ever lived was the Florida keys in 2012. It was my favorite because we’d go diving in the canals everyday and see alllllll the Florida wildlife like manatees, dolphins, alligators, and more!! It was also a walkable island which was so nice (cries in american). Plus, all the seafood tacos a girl could possibly eat!!! It was heavenly.

me, reading a fic I posted six years ago: god, I hate that I used this word here. it’s the wrong word. it makes the later part of the story make no sense.
me, well aware of this mistake and well aware I usually shrug and leave it: it’s been six years. no one else is even reading this fic. no one else would ever notice. it’s not a big deal. you have literal typos in this fic you’ve never fixed.

hahah- there’s not much more to it than that. MASH got me hooked on war humor. In college, I took a few more classes that somehow wove their way into veteran’s issues, but ultimately decided to be a teacher. After teaching for a couple years, I then decided to give my other passion a try and went and got a masters degree in psychiatry, specifically PTSD and war issues. My thesis for that masters was about the necessity of military humor for those in active duty and for veterans. the paper was more focused around comics than MASH, but the central thesis: that military humor serves a specific purpose that is beneficial to the mental health of soldiers (and is something veterans actually lose access to when they come home, which is bad) can be directly linked to MASH. that is where the interest started! the only reason i didn’t write the whole thesis about MASH was because it is a bitch and a half to cite tv shows. comics were easier.
(after that masters program, I missed teaching so much that I went back to it so it’s a small little blip in my life story but still! the tv shows you watch as a child will influence you in unknown ways!)

HOW OFTEN DO YOU WRITE?
Not as much anymore. I need to get back into it. I guess at the height, it was like... a lot. Like hours a day but then the real world came. It really depends if I hit flow. Then I can do hours again. But that’s been rare lately for whatever reason and I’ve decided putting pressure on it just makes it worse. So I’ve freed myself to step away and do other things if that’s what I want. Writing is just a hobby for now and so should be fun.
DO YOU HAVE A ROUTINE FOR WRITING?
Hmm... no? I don’t outline or plan or anything like that. I usually just daydream it for a while (days to weeks depending on how long/complicated the story is) and then sit down and write it. Read it over once or twice for typos before posting.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE KINKS/TROPES/PAIRING?
Kinks - I don’t write E-stuff. For reading... i dunno. Slow-burn really. Is that a kink? I like when it’s well-written. I have a few strict Nos but other than that, if it’s well-written, I like it.
Trope- I like a bit of angst with my fluff. So like hurt/comfort works for me? Really any of the tropes work if there is some angst. I don’t really enjoy just RAW fluff.

First ship you ever wrote fic for: Aladdin! 11 year old me was writing some BAD fic back in the day. It has now been taken down. And lost I think? it is probably on a floppy disk somewhere.

They never met in canon ship: hmm.... patater? I mean they have met but like playing a sport for 3 seconds. i don’t read much of it but i’ve liked a few of the fics (and wrote one) and do enjoy it!
