Questionnaire about Practice
During my research investigation I have been looking closely at the Inter-disciplinary within my practice to determine how I brand myself as a creative. I thought a useful exercise would be to conduct a questionnaire about practice to see how others approach the inter-disciplinary elements within their work.
Above I have scanned in the answered questionnaire, I will be transcribing the information below in-case I need to refer back to the answers provided if the information is relevant when writing my dissertation.
Each Participant was asked to sign a declaration form which states that the information they provide might be used in my dissertation which may be accessible for the public to view.

Answer:I don’t studying art gives you that skill.I think that in order to be an artist (and a self initiator of projects). you need to be the kind of person that is disciplined and a self learner. Q13. Would you consider yourself an artist ? (if not why and how would you brand yourself ?)
Answer: I don’t like to label myself, I make shit, sometimes people find value in it, sometimes they don’t. I like to think of myself as working towards a life of freedom (of choice). Also I can’t do 9 to 5, I’ve tried, I can’t.

Me again. May I ask you how you went about practicing drawing? At the moment I've been practicing the human body for a few months and I haven't made a whole ton of progress, which is kind of frustrating :/
Oh! Well, you don’t have to worry too much about that, my first two or so years were filled with drawings that didn’t improve at all. But, now that i look at it, I realised that that time was just me building up muscle memory.
I personally started off joining a group on DA which focused on teaching people how to draw manga. I found that having to do weekly tasks (practicing anatomy, hands etc.) as well as having people to tell you where to improve really helped.
What I found to be useful when I first started drawing is copying other drawings (mainly anatomical) until I my hand knew how to draw the right shapes easily and automatically. Then I would draw it again without copying and ask for other people’s opinions about how to improve and I repeat the process, keeping their opinions in mind.
Basically, what I mean is to draw constantly and consistently and ask people for help~ You might not think you’ve made progress but i assure you it builds up over time.
And, if you ever do need help, you can feel free to ask me, I’m not busy yet u//u
One more week of this hell and I'm DONE
I told you that it was all about practice.
