Tigereed Hospital
Scenario: Theo has been in a huge accident, is fatally injured and almost died. He manages to survive and he wakes up for the first time. Reed is there.
Reed is weak with relief when he sees him because he's been up worried sick, unable to sleep/eat/etc. And he's speechless when Theo wakes and he just hugs Theo so tight without saying a word and he's trembling and crying silently into Theo's skin.
Theo is kind of startled and he feels weird, like (new emotion 😂) sort of soft and tender towards Reed. (Btw if Theo wakes up in a hospital he's bleary and "wtf are these things in me" and tries to pull them out bc he's like "whv I don't need them!!1! Can't be that bad" )
Anyway he feels like he wants to do something for Reed (he wants to reassure) so he would reach out to touch him and make some wisecrack/joke, like (in a soft kind of cheering you up voice) "Hey at least I'm not dead." (pause) "Feels like it though. I feel like death fucked me in the ass."
Reed would be startled into a laugh. He'd untangle himself from Theo and brush his cheek softly, peering into his features. "I thought you liked getting fucked in the ass," he finally says, voice still unusually soft and tender. His eyes are still wet with tears and there’s this....sombre sweetness about him.
Theo would feel kind of soft towards Reed since Reed is being so tender. He'd mumble, "Yeah but not by death but by you" (about being fucked in the ass)
Reed would smile fondly. He's still peering into Theo's eyes, looking unusually small and uncertain, and the smile drops from his face. "They said you lost a lot of blood. Too much blood. They said...you wouldn't make it." His voice is so small. He keeps staring at Theo, never wavering though his voice was starting to.
Theo would be staring back unguardedly and he's kind of feeling like he wants to do something for Reed (reassure) so he'd try to fake-tough it out, like (soft voice) "Well I'm still alive and kickin'. Anyway blood can be replaced, they just gotta donate me some" (He says this confidently).
Obviously that’s not how it works but it’s not like Reed knows any better. He's like a scared child. I think the more things Theo says the more teary he gets. Theo is basically trying to say with bravado "Look I'm fine don't be sad."
Reed doesn't say anything to that. He just holds Theo's wrist a little tighter. Who knew our sweet talker swallows his tongue whenever he's overwhelmed. He always talks himself out of and through anything but I find that he can't even speak now. At this point the tears are back dripping. It does not occur to Theo to wipe Reed's tears.
(Also who knew Theo could feel soft towards Reed... I can't believe..)
After a while Theo’s probably like "I gotta sleep I feel weird" (fatigued/light headed/whatever)
Reed looks alarmed and his grip tightens. His gaze has never left Theo's face at all. "Don't sleep." His voice is so small. It's almost inaudible now. He is genuinely scared. It's too close an encounter with death and he's very shaken. Like I think Reed is so overwhelmed he's just still and quiet and the only thing he can do is just...stand there and hold on tight ;; Never thought I could feel bad for him. He knows Theo is the "lol I died" type so he's just.......shaken...cuz Theo isn't exactly taking things very seriously (as usual)
Finally, at one point, Theo will be kind of alarmed/concerned and tries to reassure Reed with "Don't cry babe I'm fine. Never felt better. Okay this might be worse than that time I (dangerous thing he did) but I’m fine!" Theo is oblivious to Reed's anguish except being like 'Look, it's all good'
Theo would start to mumble because I think he used up too much energy toughing it out, now he's going to crash. He mumbles, "Don't worry not going to die, I'm going to lie here beside you brb"
And he's like "I'm lying right here to accompany you while I sleep. You stay here. Ttyl"...... (He literally says BRB and TTYL. He says it because in his head it's like: Convo not over brb ttyl while I sleep)
And he invites Reed to join him – as if it's safe and he has the authority to say that. He'd be like "Babe you want to sleep too?" (scoots over with trailing IVs)
Speaking of “Babe”: (Reba) I am not even going there, I'm just going to say Theo never seems to call anyone by their names, Nolan is bro, Reed is babe.
Anyway, Reed is so sold on the sleeping together thing. He probably hasn't eaten or slept in a while too. Reed crawls into the bed with Theo and at this point I'm grateful they are both so thin. Reed just.......he wants to be close. I think he watches Theo sleeping for a while (and not dead) until he's finally lulled to sleep.
Until he’s kicked out by the nurse.
It's also as if he's lost all his charm cuz when the nurse boots him out he's just ??! and pleading and insisting he needs to stay instead of being all suave and alluring and trying to charm his way in.
Theo complains-demands, "Why can't he stay? What, it's not like he's going to kill me! If he's got germs then he can come back after he kills them!" (In his head he's thinking of the body decontamination area you see in plague movies LOL. You know the one where you stand in there and then they spray antibacterial stuff at you and steam you.)
Anyway, Reed has to leave and Theo is lonely and sulky. Also intensely bored. He's going to start making trouble soon. He's sulky and disgruntled, takes a long time to go back to sleep because he misses Reed's feel beside him.
Reed lives alone in his studio apartment and he sleeps fitfully too. He definitely hasn’t eaten anything as well.

Wait till he's convinced Theo is alive and kicking then he's gonna be like "Hey let's see if we can have sex without the nurses noticing. The game is to keep quiet" The doors don’t LOCK, but it’s part of the “thrill”, I suppose.
Now we know Tigereed is back to the normal program
Imagine Nolan walks in. He opens the door, registers and he's like "Y'know what fuck both of you". Dumps his gift and slams the door.

Reed literally goes around calling Theo tiger as if everyone knows what he's talking about. He goes up to a nurse "How's tiger????????"
People are like ???? And he's frustrated like "MY tiger. How is he??"
If Theo could hear, he'd loudly yell from his bed "I'M HERE BABE"
When he talks to Nolan, it's just very casually "Have you seen my tiger?" At first, Nolan’s like “………what.” Then: "Are you talking about Theo?” Once he figures Reed is never gonna address Theo by name he just rolls with it.
(Bea) I love how neither Theo nor Reed calls each other by name. To be honest, imagining Theo calling anyone by their actual name is just bizarre.
(Rei) And now I’m laugh because maybe Reed’s name is actually just Henry.
