I wanna request something for my birthday next month, but I don’t know what your request rules and dos and donts are!
oh hi there! i don't have a reqs rules because I simply wasn't expecting to get any requests! I've not written for anything super popular until recently with posha's bday fic and I honestly didn't expect to see that take off on AO3 as it has! I'm genuinely super flattered!
Basically my dos and don'ts boil down to:
my only hard no is RPF. No judgement to people who enjoy it, I just personally don't feel comfortable with it. It's a squick for me.
I won't take a req for a fandom I don't know unless it's like. a fandom-in-law wherein I have a friend I can pick the brain of to make sure i'm comfortable enough with canon to play in it
if you're looking for a length other than "short" (~1K words) we'll have to haggle it out bc I'm physically/mentally disabled and technically work full time and I don't want to make promises I can't keep
I am pro-ship but I do reserve the right to turn down reqs bc I'm uncomfortable or not how I want to portray a character, or for any other reason and I am not obligated to explain why if I reject a request.
I'll make a full rules list later today (and a list of fandoms I'm comfortable writing for) but those are the big things I can think of right now! feel free to hmu here if you have any more questions!
