▌ REAL NAME: Peter “Spark” Surge ▌SINGLE OR TAKEN: VERSE DEPENDENT, single by default. ▌ ABILITIES: Familiar of Zapdos - can act as an electric conduit (pass energy, especially electrical, through his body with less physical harm stemming from electrocution, but not none) and tap into the ether (the source of energy behind Pokemon moves; could in theory perform Pokemon moves but in practice cannot due to his human body and its limitations) through the pendant he wears to summon Zapdos; can understand Zapdos through empathy. ▌ EYE COLOUR: Pale blue ▌ HAIR COLOUR: Yellow blonde ▌ FAMILY: Lt. Surge (Uncle) ▌ PETS: Friend the Jolteon is both his partner and his best friend, accompanying him everywhere. ▌ SOMETHING THEY DON’T LIKE: People being told to “toughen up” and numb themselves for success; egg mills ▌ HOBBIES: Travel, working out, three-on-three battles, taking care of Eggs and hatchling Pokemon (technically part of his job description) ▌ EVER HURT ANYONE BEFORE: Probably. Though he is very gentle with people and Pokemon he deems as vulnerable, often unbeknownst to them, there have been cases in which he has misjudged. ▌ EVER KILLED SOMEONE: No ▌ ANIMAL THAT REPRESENTS THEM: a Jolteon or a yellow Lab ▌ WORST HABITS: Impulsiveness, acting on instinct and thinking later, can be somewhat inconsiderate (as a roommate, lab partner...) because he does tend to jump at new tasks that may inconvenience others or forget things he promised to. He does tend to forget promises quite a bit, to the point where he’s taken to writing them down. ▌ ROLE MODELS: Lt. Surge, Professor Willow, Professors Rowan and Oak ▌ SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Gay ▌ THOUGHTS ON MARRIAGE / KIDS: Spark really loves spending time with kids and teens, and has quite a knack for it. (He does deal with kids, both of his own team and others, a fair amount as part of the Project.) He would love nothing more than to be able to raise some of his own and be one of the few existing good dads of the Pokemon universe, but he knows he probably won’t have time to. ▌ STYLE PREFERENCES: Leather and yellow/orange, always wears long sleeves and gloves whenever possible (wears a rash guard swimming), but tank tops around the house/when alone. His pendant never leaves his side, either around his neck or in a case in his pocket. ▌ SOMEONE THEY LOVE: his fellow Team Leaders ▌ APPROACH TO FRIENDSHIPS: He’s open and easy to get along with, meaning he makes a lot of friends on a surface level. He does, however, intentionally keep himself at a certain distance when it comes to making closer ties, as he doesn’t like the thought of people worrying about him. ▌ FAVOURITE DRINK: Alcoholic: I’m so sorry, but my boy has awful taste in beers. Unovan Lites. Non alcoholic: iced or hot coffees, especially in fancy or fun flavors ▌ FAVOURITE PLACE: The Go Project Labs and his apartment, a coffeehouse close to home in Nimbasa, Lt. Surge’s gym, Vermilion Harbor (where everyone remembers him and Friend dashing around and playing) ▌ SWIM IN LAKE OR OCEAN: Ocean, any day ▌ THEIR TYPE: Someone who gets him to open up, I think. Someone he can fall fast for and not realize until he’s in too deep. Often they’re friends long before he even thinks of them as anything else. He doesn’t realize it, but it’s usually someone who opens themselves up as vulnerable to him.
