About swimming...
Well, technically, I know how to... It’s mostly about having your body float instead of sink while doing series’ of various movements or simply by inflating the thorax whilst inhaling and letting the body sort of sail by itself... It’s about hydrostatic pressure and density...
I even know which kinds of movements one should do...
It’s just that Narradia is not exactly full of lakes and there is no sea. Only rivers and I hadn’t seen a big river until I was 10 and went to the Capital with my father. The river in the Capital, however, is SO dirty, nobody could ever swim there.
I think my brother used to swim, even in the shallow river waters in the Pale Forest. But I somehow preferred baths or natural springs.
So crossing the North Sea on my travels for the first time, turned out as quite a scary ride for two weeks. My stress, though, had been soon replaced by sea sickness that lasted the whole way... I lost about 4 kilograms before we reached the harbor...
