I told myself I wouldn't bring it up, but OH MY JESUS LORD. This Tom Blyth fandom on Twitter lives off of parasocial drugs, and it's so tiring.

Why are you stanning his girlfriend?

They never mention her shows. They never mention her interviews. What are you a fan of? You can barely know her personality from her account.

And when you don't say anything about her or just imply at not liking her, or even when you criticize her acting skills, the Twitter police come in and call you a hater. And all this time, you've just been polite.

Putting her on a pedestal just because she's dating the man you want to sleep with isn't gonna help your case. If not, it makes you even more of a parasocial weirdo.

Why the hell are you stanning his girlfriend? Why are you calling her 'mother'? Why are you making fan accounts of her? Why are you tagging her in your Instagram stories? Why are you pretending to be a long-time fan?

Do you really wanna be noticed by Tom that badly? You don't know the girl. There's nothing for you to stan. 

It just seems all so hypocritical to me. What will happen if they ever break up? (Wishing them all the best, though, they look genuinely happy together.) What will happen to those tweets? Those fan accounts? Gone and forgotten? It’s just gonna be so much more awkward than it already is. 

(Just like what happened with his ex-girlfriend, no one mentions her anymore. No one cares. Just hypocritical when you remember what people used to say about her.)

T.'s ShroomTea Shack

By the Golden Warp Pipe in Toadtown's shopping center is a rather humble tea shack run by a singular toad. his name tag leaves much to be desired, the privacy of a single letter initial being abnormal for a toad. But, his smile at every patron, matching energy levels, and delicious brews has loyal customers swinging by, most notably being the Princess herself. Despite her own patronage and referrals in conversation, he never seems too terribly busy; many a 'suave shopper' not seeing the point in getting shroomtea from some humble shack when they have access to the Star Mall and it's complimentary cup as they browse various wares.

Honestly though? T. Seems perfectly happy with his steady to slow business- it's enough to keep him afloat, and a certain royal patron has allowed him to play around with flavors he'd never has expected to have such simple access to.

What is Shroom tea?

ShroomTea is an uniquely Mushroom Kingdom Beverage, something that just doesn't seem to be made to it's full extent in other kingdoms. It's a tourist must have for international visitors, no matter their thoughts regarding the matter, much in the way coffee is a must have for tourists of the BeanBean Kingdom. however, while beans can be exported for an experience similar at home, shroomtea is a more fickle brew, as it's easy to end up with something that just tastes savory like mushroom soup, instead of the more neutral tones that lends itself to sweetness of a mushroom tea.

Your classic Mushroom tea you can find anywhere, brewed to a balanced perfection.

Refreshroom - 10

With a natural brightness, refreshrooms provide for a sharper drink then your classic mushroom provides.

UltraShroom - 20

The more Potent the Mushroom, the harder to brew. Ultra Shrooms are a valuable medicinal item to have on hand, and that can practically be tasted in the bitter edge of this brew.

BeeShroom - 13

Take your Classic Mushroom and lighten the flavor just a touch, with a backing of honey-like sweetness. Just as bees enjoy nectar, the beeshroom holds a sweetness to its center as well that is coaxed to the forefront when brewed, leaving you with a naturally sweetened drink.

Propellor Shroom - 12

There's a uniquely floral tone to the Propellor shroom, that can lead to one to question if the light shroom tea has been mixed with a classic herbal tea. This tea is light, with the mushroom tones nearly taking a backseat to the floral grassiness one might liken to a wind billowing over a meadow in spring.

Dayzee Tears - 13

Cannot be mixed with caffeine. Adds a light saltiness to teh cup, but it's not ordered for flavor. Dayzee tears can help relax you, somewhat, btu too much can lead to a sorrow behind the calm.

Fire Flower- 5

Obviously used in moderation, but if you want a spicy kick in your drink, this is the way to get it. It has the bonus effect of keeping the beverage physically hot longer as well.

Ice Flower - 5

Used to keep drings colder for longer and prevent ice from melting, but it does add an almost snow-like flavor to the background of the drink.

Cloud Flower - 10

Tastes like water that heard about sugar existing once, but it's not ordered for flavor- it's ordered for texture. Blending a drink with Cloud Flower with make it a touch frothy to foamy, becoming more and more airy the more is blended in.

Bubble Flower - 8

Tastes lightly of lemon blossom nectar, but is again not ordered for flavor: Mixing a drink with Bubble Flower adds a carbonation effect, without the need or use of any sort of actual acid. This allows for the forbidden carbonated milk without spoiling it.

Classic Shroom Base with white chocolate mixed in, chilled with iceflower and topped with milk foam and garnished with a cinnamon stick and p-acorn shavings.

Classic Shroom Blend with cinnamon, honey, and fireflower! the cinnamon and fire blend harmoniously while the honey gives it a sweet edge. garnished with chocolate shavings.

With a Beeshroom and Propeller shroom base, blended with a cloud flower to give that airy texture, this drink is designed to remind you of the sky. After all, neither the Beeshrooms nor the cloud flowers are from our planet in the first place.

Faux 1-up - 50

Utilizing a 1-Up to cook with is a waste of an extremely useful healing item, and far to pricy. However, feeling dead tired or sore after hard work or a bad nights rest? then This is the drink for you! The mushroom flavor is strong, almost condensed compared to the typical shroom tea blend, but that is because it's brewed with a mix of UltraShrooms, Refreshrooms, InvincibilityShrooms, and Lifeshrooms. To help cut that heavy earthy flavor however, there's a shot of Chuckle Bean Espresso, Imported from the Bean Bean kingdom, for that caffeine boost on top of it all! It comes out macha green, and is then garnished with Power Flower petals.

recommended to get a small size of the drink so as to fill the cup with extra sweet mix-ins. Not available in Large.

Drink of the Dead - 20

In the opposite direction, having troubles sleeping, or just filled with far too much energy? Then this mix is designed to make you tired with only some mild numbness as a side affect, and should not be drank if you have things to do through the day. Do not operate machinery within 4 hours of consuming this drink. Only available in small.

A blend primarily of minishroom, with booshroom and a single drop of diluted poison shroom [author's note: I'm thinking specifically the ones like you encounter in the first luigis mansion game]. Mixed with Dayzee's tear and steamed with honey infused milk. Even with the honey the natural musty air of the booshroom does cut through, but that is easily washed away with a cup of cool water before tucking into bed for the night.

Woohoo Brew

Smooth but strong, the Woohoo Beans just begs to be made into a Mocha or Macciato to sweeten that bitter bite.

Hoohoo Brew

A medium Roast with notes of honey and a sparkle of acid that finishes off cleanly, Hoohoo Beans make for a lovely cup of coffee be it black, or turned into a Latte.

Chuckle Brew

Chuckle Beans don't need any flavors to give it a sweet finish. That vibrant red color only pairs with the warm energy of this heavily caffeinated bean. The flavor is hard to compare beyond those coffee notes, yet pairing with a bubble flower can let you imagine what a chuckola cola may be.

Perhaps the coffee only has it's bitter edge since the beans have not gotten to laugh?

Teehee Brew

But my personal opinion is that MAYBE (grain of salt) there is a very fine line between them that may have been blurred a couple times. Both might be a little too worried about the fall out or what’s on the other side, because that usually happens right? When you do the friends thing first, and you question if there’s a romantic connection, it gets confusing and scary. I’m sure both have wondered if it were to ever happen, if it’d be worth risking the friendship for, or if they could both accept one another in that capacity. Totally different thing to have heart eyes for a good friend to then know and love them wholly in a romantic way.
