one thing i learned after years of reading tarot is that the cards are actually very honest… but they’re also very literal. if you ask a vague question, you usually get a vague answer. sometimes it even feels like the cards go silent. for a long time i thought tarot just “wasn’t working” for me on certain questions. but eventually i realized the problem wasn’t the deck. it was the way i was asking.
tarot responds to clarity. the more intentional the question is, the deeper the reading becomes.
instead of asking things like “will this happen?” or “will they come back?”, i started asking questions that open a dialogue with the cards. questions that explore the hidden dynamics of a situation, the things i’m not seeing, or the lesson behind an experience.
and the difference was honestly huge. readings became clearer, more specific, and way more meaningful.
that’s why i created this little guide about asking better questions to tarot. it’s basically a collection of question frameworks and examples i’ve used over the years that help the cards actually give useful insight instead of confusing answers.
