Huh.
🌺 - Ume sometimes sits there, looking at her linkpearls, and contemplates reaching out to her friends to see them when she's feeling lonely, but talks herself into thinking they don't deserve the trouble of dealing with her lower moments
10/10
Ok, first of all– OW! How dare you?
But this is 100% accurate. She often sits alone on her stump in the woods and spends a lot of her time talk to herself and even sometimes a little beady eye friend she summons to keep her company. But sometimes her own kind company isn’t enough and she gets extremely lonely. She absolutely thinks about reaching out to someone she knows to ask if they would care to keep her company but in the end, she often decides that she’s just not worth it.
Gnat: Name something that really annoys your muse.
Ignorance.
Particularly towards the Void and its place in the world.
Bomb: Would you say that your muse is stable or unstable, in terms of personality?
Yes and no!
Over the years, Ume has had to struggle to consume and take control of her own void-tainted aether to survive. Though it hasn't been with drawbacks.
In her current state, Ume is very strong-willed and confident in her abilities to control the heavy amounts of tainted aether stored inside her. But feasting and living off the essence of voidsent can take a toll on one's mind. She may talk strangely and think certain things are more funny than they should be.
To some, Ume might seem like a genuinely kind, motherly type just looking to care and watch over those she cares for. To others, she is a sick and twisted woman just looking to manipulate and control others for her own selfish gain. Both would be correct!
Even so, Ume is very aware that she could still lose control at any time.
Whether it be from high points of stress or overwhelming emotion, Ume sometimes loses herself and struggles to keep the Void in its place and whatever is trapped inside will always try to find a way out. Whether it be from means of escaping her clutches or controlling the host entirely-- best to try and let her stay in control unless you're prepared to handle her at her worst!
Flan: How do they feel about spills, messes, etc.?
Ume doesn't mind a mess in her life when her life is already a mess!
But honestly, her cabin is riddled with mysterious stains and cluttered piles of fallen and stashed aside books. If someone makes a mess, she just smiles and cleans it up for them.
Boogeyman: Does your muse have a habit of disappearing? Do they come and go as they please?
Yes.
Ume has a terrible habit of disappearing and reappearing when you least expect her to. She can go days to weeks without showing herself but eventually everyone ventures out of isolation to see people she's meant to see. Sometimes against her will!
While Ume comes and goes as she pleases on her own time, due to her condition, corrupted aether weighs heavy on her mind. When she can't help but sleep, she has sometimes been known to sleepwalk wherever the Void leads her.
Ahriman: does your muse enjoy watching others? If so, why?
Yes.
Ironically so, Ume often watches over people through a small beady eye ahriman she summons to her side. Through it's all seeing eye, she watches over friends and foes alike when she is curious what they've been up to. Sometimes she misses people and just wants to see them again without bringing them harm.
Its the safest way to observe-- for her and for them.
