Not making a difference in the world before she has to leave it. 

Losing her father like she lost her mother; as well as not being there enough for him due to her idol life. 

Making commitments and promises. Life is so changeable; just as people are — and Bomi, despite being rather naive and hopeful, knows for a fact that there’s no telling that commitments can be kept, and that promises won’t be broken. Bomi is the sort of girl who hates bringing pain or disappointment to those around her; so she shies away from committing herself too much. 

The Tragically Hip: 6 things you want to accomplish

Make enough money to buy a house for her father — provide for him and take care of him, like he has for her ever since she was little. 

Become a singer/songwriter. At present, Bomi does compose the occasional song; but she doesn’t have the self-belief or self-confidence to show anyone her compositions. She strives to be better; and produce better music — and perhaps one day release a song of her own for APink; or as a solo. 

Learn how to ride a bike. Among all the commotion of her childhood; Bomi never learned how. She hopes to learn sometime soon —

Assume the responsibility for a pet; a puppy, a kitten, a guinea pig; whatever it may be. Bomi is rather forgetful and absent-minded at times, so she yearns to become responsible and capable enough to take care of her own pet.

Learn how to play an instrument. Again, among all the misfortunes of her childhood life, Bomi never had the opportunity to learn an instrument. Her abilities reach as far as “Mary had a little lamb” on the piano; but that marks the height of her  instrumental capability. Guitar is of particular interest to her; and thus she particularly desires to learn how to play guitar.

Skip stones across a lake. She’s tried ever since she was a little girl; back in the days when she used to live in Suwon. Twenty years on, and she still hasn’t managed it — give it another year, or two, or ten, or twenty perhaps. 

Aerosmith: Favorite celebrity? Least favorite?

Her favourite celebrity would most probably have to be Lana Del Rey — she’s quite a big fan, and is more colloquially known as totally-head-over-heels-in-love with her, and her music. As for least favourite? Well, Bomi prefers not to dwell on the negatives.

Note: Not to put too fine a point on it, Bomi in all honesty doesn't think too much about sex -- she's a little sheltered of things of the like, but that's not to say that she's all for a purity ring, or anything of the sort. There aren't really any "turn ons" for Bomi, per se; but rather just things that she finds attractive both inside and outside of the bedroom.

Someone with a sure sense of self and confidence; a man who knows how to lead her.

Someone who can offer her affectionate praise every once in a while; especially when she’s in need of encouragement and isn’t sure of what she’s meant to be doing — or if she’s doing something right or wrong.

Someone who can accept her for all her flaws; be they psychological scars, physical imperfections — anything.

Someone who loves her; not lusts for her.

As an idol herself, it’s logical enough that Bomi has attended/performed at her fair share of concerts — but surprisingly enough; despite her love for music, Bomi has never been to a concert of her own accord. Growing up, money was tight, so she never had the means; and now as an idol, she doesn’t have the freeedom. Some artists she would fancy seeing live however, would be Lana Del Rey, City & Colour, Panic! At The Disco and Kodaline. 

Iron Maiden: Would you say that you have a "sexy" figure?

Most definitely not. Bomi is rather self-critical at times; so to classify her figure as “sexy” would be wildly uncharacteristic for her. 

Pat Benatar: Ever been in love?

Simply put, yes. 

Rainbow: What's better, day or night?

Nighttime. During the day, you work — you study, you do chores, you shop for groceries. Nighttime brings rest; late night walks by the shore, midnight snacks, evening trips to your local parks. We live for the night; for only at night do we escape who we’re “meant” to be during the day: students, teachers, business people, politicians — at night we become who we want to be: friends, lovers, confidantes — parents, brothers, sisters. Nighttime brings that to us; in the darkness, we find our light.

Italy. (` she answers almost immediately; as if she’d kept the answer tucked safely away inside her pocket — ready to use within a moment’s notice ) The cobblestone streets; the culture, the people, the food! Seems to me like Italy is a little slice of heaven on Earth. 

Oh — perhaps somewhere beachy. Hawaii, Fiji — sun, sun, more sun; a little beach, a massage. A romantic walk along the shore with a mysterious but undoubtedly handsome stranger. Yupp. (` she chuckles softly; shoulders shrugging lightly as a playful smile dances along the edge of her lips )

… Would it be way too terribly cheesy and ridiculous for me to say that VIXX songs get me through the day? Especially cheery ones like 대.다.나.다.너! (` she wrinkles her nose as a bright little chuckle escapes her ) Hmm — in all honesty though; I don’t have any specific songs that really get me through the day — but artists like Lana Del Rey, Kodaline, Panic! At The Disco, City & Colour and seem to make car rides and dormitory chores a little less tedious!

AC/DC: Name 7 things people do that piss you off

Note: Rather than being "pissed off"'; Bomi is more generally the type of person that can be bothered, negatively affected, or made unhappy by certain things.

It bothers Bomi when people remain ignorant and/or indifferent to the troubles of a people native to a country, other than their own; people living in countries of civil unrest, corrupt governments, police states, things of the like. She holds a rather idealistic view that  ”we’re all human and we are all part of the same world. Where one group of people are being mistreated and are suffering, it should be in the common interest of all people to provide help; or in the very least, care about it.” Bomi thinks that to know about all the hardship and suffering in the world; and not care simply because your country isn’t directly involved; because your life isn’t directly affected — that’s one of the biggest failures of humanity. She’s a rather hopeful little one, and that; her strongest personality trait is her strongest attribute, while being her most fatal downfall. 

When people whistle after dark. Both Bomi’s mother and father were fairly superstitious; and so she was raised being told that you just shouldn’t whistle when it’s dark outside, otherwise you’re calling for bad spirits.

People who criticise the genres of music that others may enjoy; simply because it sounds different to what they themselves listen to. Bomi believes that it’s close-minded and unneeded; just as much other forms of judgement in society are. Different people express themselves in different sorts of ways, and music is simply just another form of self-expression — and Bomi’s most accessible form of self-expression no less.

Receiving one worded text messages from friends. Who knows why; perhaps it’s because she feels as if she’s as if she’s wasting a friends phone credit — perhaps she feels insignificant; like she deserves at least two worded replies — whatever the reason; she really dislikes it.

 When people call her stupid. Bomi is completely fine with being called an idiot, silly, weird, loud, prying, or annoying, even; but to describe her as stupid — one finds themselves as suddenly, somehow, having crossed a line.

Bomi becomes rather irritated when people ask “Are you okay?” — she finds the question quite impossible to answer without making at least one person feel terrible about themselves; do you yourself lie and suffer silently? Or do you tell the truth, and involve another person in your pain? Generally, she dislikes being asked that question rather terribly. 

Lastly; but probably most importantly — Bomi severely dislikes people commandeering food that she’s bought for herself: Some cookie dough, a bag of sweet chilli chips, a chocolate bar. If you’re a qualified “Best friend of Bomi”, she’ll let it slide — but if you’re a recently-made friend of acquaintance; you’d better watch out. “Bomi doesn’t share food!”

Carnation: If I handed you a concert ticket right now, who would you want to be the performer?

Oooooh; Cucumber-ssi, that’s a toughie — (` she murmurs; gaze cast downwards upon her hands as she verbally lists down her favourite artists with the assistance of all ten of her fingers ) .. Eeeeeh, well, if I had to narrow it down to just two — ! (` she curls eight of her digits to touch her palm; leaving two standing as she flashes a peace sign ) I’d go see either the Goddess Lana Del Rey or Nell sunbae-daebak-nim!

Daffodil: What’s the most thoughtful present you’ve ever recieved?

(` she lets out a soft chuckle; waggling her brows at him playfully ) Give me my soul back and that’d probably be pretty meaningful for me — y’know? 

Marigold: Do you listen to what’s on the radio?

(` her nose scrunches lightly at the tip as she gives her head a small shake ) Nupp — the girl’s can never decide on a channel that they all wanna’ listen to, so APink is mostly with the whole IPod movement thing, yupp.

Violet: Do you like where you’re from?

(` her head falls to the right slightly; hues flickering to glance at the ground as her gaze seems to fall into focus ) Do I like where I’m from? Well, I suppose that’d be one way to put it — yes, I do like where I’m from. But rather than liking where I’m from; I’m also proud of where I’m from — 'Cause.. I’m proud of my parents, who were always loving and affectionate towards me despite all hardships in raising me — and I’m proud of my father for never giving up on me, himself, and our family; even after Eomeoni passed away. I’m also pretty madly fond of where I’m from — Like, I’m fond of the old tyre swing that hung from the tree just beside my house in Suwon; somewhere that I often spent my afternoons, watching the sun set with my eyes glued to the horizon -- the colours of sunset orange, pink and red always fascinated me. I’m also really fond of the small little streets that the ice-cream man would always find difficulty in navigating, sitting in his sizable ice-cream truck; the soft melody greensleeves attracting sugar-loving kids like myself from both near and far. (` a smile finds its way to the curve of the girl’s lips; gaze slowly rising to meet that of the others — coloured with a glint of fond reminiscence ) I think rather than liking where I’m from; I’m attached to where I’m from for all the memories that I’ve made there, while growing up in Suwon — y-yeah. (` she decides to leave her reply as it is — not wanting to bore the poor man any further ) 

Heliconia: Do you like when it rains?

Rain? .. Well — I only sort of a little bit really love it when it rains! (` she exclaims in her characteristically, rather roundabout type manner of speech — eyes bright ) Rainy days are absolutely lovely, I think — ‘Cause rainy days mean movie marathons, hot cinnamon cocoa, blanket-bound-days, cuddles and not having to go outside to water the plants in the garden yourself. (` along the contours of her soft pink lips, there settles a bright and cheery little smile as she speaks )
