The drawings in "moth among butterfly" act as a focal point for meditation: the book itself is an examination of the relationship with the self, with neighbors, with the cosmos. Through text and image, the book guides the reader through a process of examination of the self, the other, and the cosmos. MAB poses the all question: can one truly achieve enlightenment, or are we doomed to an ego-fueled existentialism?
