hello hello! i started off pretty heavy but ive been lighter and lighter now…mostly cause i have plans…muahaha…

day 4 ; short short drabble!… i just wanted to write them sleeping so yayyy

“you feel so cold…” emihiko mumbled, a grin to his lips as his head burrowed within the crevice of her neck.

nayla didn’t say anything, visibly tired for once in her life in a way he’d never seen before. she seemed drained, that ethereal glow of a goddess was dwindled to a faint shine, in his eyes at least.

“do you always feel this way?” the werewolf was unsure if he was asking in the context of her skin or the deprivation of sleep radiating off of her.

“yes,” nayla responded anyway, maybe even referring to both. turning on her side, she eased as best as she could into his tight and excessively clingy embrace, “now stop moving.”

“yes ma’am.” he chuckled, his tongue occasionally lapping at her skin to familiarize himself with her. every time emihiko did so, nayla would mutter a quiet ‘stop’ and return to her slumber. it was like a having an untrained puppy, always needing to remind you of his presence.

the cold night didn’t feel like such a haunting shiver of ice anymore with his embrace, but a crackling and slow flame of a fireplace that could almost make you feel like you’re home. even when nayla refused to admit it, sleeping next to emihiko made her feel a bit less undead. a warm, moving body next to her stiff posture and freezing skin.

he didn’t see the cold as a problem, simply enjoying being permitted to hold her at this late hour. some nights were akin to this, a silence that only spoke of comfort and rest. other instances, it was discussions of topics they both held entirely different knowledge on. it had a soothing melody of its own, strings of music that eased their hearts into one song of a beat.

“your lotion tastes gross, by the way,” he mumbled, tongue stuck out and brows furrowed in disgust, “why pick something that smells like praline if it doesn’t taste like praline?”

then, of course, moments like this where the night would be a grating noise that made one cover their ears and hoped it could maybe end. even if nayla thought that, she felt herself melting as his large tail coiled over her further. there was a twinge of discomfort at the way he could decipher the scent so easily, but at least his arms felt safe in a world she never believed she’d find safety in. well, she was too drowsy to push the werewolf away anyway.

“go sleep outside.”

“but lalaaaa—“

“go.”

dad who makes my big brother go with me to a party of sorts, so i dont get laced and raped. but my brother is the one whos doing the lacing and raping .. smiling as i cough a Little too hard on the joint he hands me, gagging a tad too much at the drink im sipping on, smiling even harder as he pushes my legs open, pawing at my semi - conscious body.

I miss reading fanfiction, but I don't miss scrolling through ao3 for hours trying to find something I actually want to read while adding the same Excluded tags written ten different ways.

Very surprised how good and fun this show is. How little it's annoying me. Every time I thought they were gonna fall back to something really annoying they let it go and moved on

maybe it's just cause it's super fast paced and unserious. if a plot point annoys you it's not gonna matter in the next episode asdfghjkl
