♛ :A time when mercy was requested but not provided
“If I recall correctly the man’s name was Karaba…” Zed mused, trying to pull the one event out of the hundreds he had seen.
“During the invasion, not all Ionians stood with their homeland, some turned their coats and worked with Noxus for their own profits. Karaba made quite the killing in the metals trade thanks to the mine he owned and ran. His profit margins went up substantially thanks to his new benefactors.”
A grim smile flowered on Zed’s face.
“I made it my mission to put a halt to the influx of metals Noxus was recieving and so I stole away into the prison camp where our soldiers were being worked in the mines and freed them. Then I infiltrated Karaba’s home and gathered as much evidence as I could.”
The smile turned vicious.
“I found the man and dragged him in chains before a court of law, he pleaded his innocence, that he was keeping Ionians alive, despite evidence that he made no efforts to sneak prisoners to safety and from prisoner testimony. He was ruled guilty and I was the man charged with executing him”
A sudden lighthearted tone filled Zeds voice, obviously amused. “I think he was buried near to the mine he owned actually”
