Update on the acting training in America thing...

I have a class called Cinema Acting and Directing. In this class I am grouped up with a fellow actor and two or three directors. This week's project has me with three males who at first wanted to film a sex scene... After stubbing that idea out quite promptly and with an awful lot of decisiveness we landed on a cute RomCom sort of a scene.

Quite a lot of it was improvised on the shoot, which, by the way, was outside in Syracuse, NY at two o'clock in the morning. For those of you who do not know upstate New York all that well; it was cold. Really. Very. Cold.

Today was the presentation of the scene and, for the first time since these projects started, I loved it! My directors made Tim (my fellow actor) and I look great, the scene ran beautifully and there was some chemistry on screen I hadn't expected. 

Although there were flaws in the scene itself, my acting professor was very impressed at my work and afterwards beckoned me over for a little chat.

Now, my acting professor is quite astounding, really. College besties with Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, The Newsroom) and star of many American tv shows including and not limited to; Will and Grace, The West Wing (of course), Arrested Development. He has previously mentioned to Grace (my best friend) and I that we would kill the American Sitcom world. Today he told me that this world - the RomCom world - was the perfect place for me. That as a RomCom actress I would "thrive". This is not at all what I would have expected. Not for me! Not only did he say this, but my film professor, quite a scary man but with many connections and a lot of experience under his belt, chimed in with "on film? Mhhhmmm!"

Today has been a revelation of sorts, I guess you would say. 

I could actually do this, you guys!

I could actually make a living of my passion!

i auditioned for my top choice

while i was auditioning and in interviews and personal sessions i realised just how perfect this place was for me

i'm not sure what i'll be like if i get rejected

please be wary all 100 odd of you

i'll either be ecstatic

or so downtrodden i'll need a pooperscooper to pick me off the floor

1) what does your ideal man/woman/partner look like?

I don't really know. I'd quite like for them to be at least two inches different in height but really that's just preference.. I guess they also have pretty eyes but apart from that idk idk I think all people are beautiful so there's that

They have to be kind, rather clever, and have a good sense of humour. Also helpful if they don't mind me being jokingly-mean. Also not clingy and can deal with me forgetting/not wanting to reply to texts and understanding how to deal with me when I'm in a mood or whatever.. Also would be cool if they were a little kinky wut wut

3) who are you currently shipping hardcore?

myself/the internet? I literally have no idea. I've kinda just been watching House at the moment and there's nothing I ship all that much...

4) do your friends look at you funny when you use the word “shipping”?

Most of my friends understand xD

only when I'm alone. Or drunk. Or in the shower. Or in my head. I sing a lot, actually, but not well~

Yes fucking Glee I hate that show with a passion. I first started watching mid way through an episode and the first scene I saw was the Quick scene when they're babysitting for Kendra's kids and I fell in love bc that entire scene was ADORBZ and then I watched S1 which was good but started disliking it in S2 and yeah never went back to liking it
