I started accutane today yayay

Week 12!! Not sure why my left cheek looks so red 😂 but okay I only got one pimple on my cheek this week (attributing that to getting my period) but yeah other than that everything is still good!

Week 10!!! I cried this week because my skin looks SOO much better. It's so soft and I didn't get one pimple this week, I'm so excited. No other side effects besides dry lips 👏🏻

Day 17 kinda it's like 4am

The texture of my skin rn is trash my guy like it gets kinda gross when I’m on my period but my skin is not having a nice time right now. Also I’ve never had so many blackheads in my life this is trash.

Day 55, post accutane.

I used a blotting sheet for the first time since December. My face is becoming oily again. I have a pimple. I have been using tea tree oil, jojoba oil and aloe intermittently with Cetaphil daily moisturizing lotion. I have also been using my clarisonic with the gentle brush head. So far so good! It is nice to feel emotions as they should be felt. I hope everyone is doing well! Sorry it's been forever. Keep your head up ♡

Day 187.

10 more pills left in month 6 of my accutane journey. In the past week, I have had or have acquired 5 pimples. This worries me. Not to mention, I don't feel all that happy. I feel like I need another month, and I feel like I want my life back. My dermatologist appointment is on Tuesday. I will see what she says. I really don't want to get my acne back. I also feel like one more month might not be so bad. These pimples worry me. I have been using Burt's Bees honey lip balm because I am working in a lab this summer and it's less sticky than aquaphor. Day 182. I'm halfway through my sixth month. I'm achy again! What is this! It hurts to walk. I believe this started Monday but I convinced myself that it was due to the shoes I wore that day. But now it's Tuesday and it has worsened throughout the day. I'm about halfway through this box of absorbica, so I'm guessing that might be the cause. "Brand name" absorbica helps the isotretinoin to absorb better than the generic clavaris does, so that means I'm getting the full 30mg. It's crazy how a little change in dose can make such a big difference. I hope I feel better in the morning. I hope everyone is doing well! Keep your head up ♡
