I took close up of the sections I thought were interesting and wanted to hightlight within the piece, I like the figure and it combines with the background, though you can’t tell what it is it’s a performance of everyday acts around us, that capture my attention within people the fleeting moments.

This was the start of an large scale painting something I like to play around with is scale, and challenging myself within painting. I really liked this for reference I put together 4 X A2 sheets, and used acylic on card 300 GSM, this was a quick painting influenced by Diana Copperwhite, I like this piece a lot, I like how the colour palette looks a lot in contrast to one another and the person getting onto the train.

Abstract expressive

This piece for me is one of my favourites, as I really enjoy the colour palette but also the subject matter of my friends included in this scene. How it tells a story or makes you wonder what they are talking about, I like the expressive style of this piece most, how striking it is within colour and how the people work well within this space around the piece. I am putting up this work for assessment alongside the other larger painting as they have a connection within the project for me and I think they are my most successful pieces. It took only about 2 hours to complete so I’m overall very happy with result and look forward to seeing it up alongside the other paintings I did throughout this project
