Experiment process/finished results

I really liked experimenting within sculpture and looking into the media, process and materials from past elective of painting, bringing them in to work with one another, this was made from the lines from the ink drawings which was pretty interesting process, unfortunately I had another piece made but I was unwell for the day and it was binned so unfortunately I couldn’t show the final results of the piece, but I enjoyed this so much and would look into this technique I have learned from this elective

Charline von Heyl-German absract artist

Charline von Heyl is a German abstract painter. She also works with drawing, printmaking, and collage. She moved to the United States in the 1990s, and has studios in New York City and in Marfa, Texas. She is currently represented by Petzel Gallery.

i really found this artist visually interesting with both subject matter as well as how she abstractly looks and uses colour and texture within her work which is something i have been looking at within my own work, i want to explore this through same mediums within like Heyl, in drawing, and print and making collage within print with my swirls and lines.

I really love this piece. Every part of this painting is something I've been perfecting. For a long time now I've been painting towards something I wasn't really sure of. I had dreams and I painted them (tried to) with this piece I think I'm the closest to what I dreamt. I'm very happy to share this art today and please tell me what you think and feel.
