These pieces are abstract collages that highlight mistakes that were made within the print studio. Dirty edges, blotches of ink on paper, de-contextualized. When mistakes are made in the printing process, no matter how small, all the work of printing is negated by their presence. I thought it was interesting to make the mistakes the subject on purpose, giving them as much care as I had for my other artworks.
