Abstract trio always makes me think of parallels with Arisu. Chota and Karube from Alice and Bordeland.

Theodor Adorno writes:
The enigma of works of art is the fact of their having been broken off. If transcendence were really present in them, they would be mysteries rather than riddles. They are not. They are riddles precisely because they are fragments disclaiming to be wholes, even though wholes is what they really want to be. This theme has come to the fore in art only quite recently, namely in Kafka's damaged parables. But retrospectively we can say that all works of art look like those puny allegories one finds in cemeteries, i.e. those broken-off steles. No matter how perfect works of art may pretend to be, they are lopped off. What they mean is not their essence, a fact that looks like a blockage of meaning.
