Random Ribbit Memory #9:

The cellar sucked absolute ass. It was dark and damp and boring.

In all seriousness, being abstracted is kinda a horrifying ordeal. Sure, it's peaceful in the dark, but once you hit the light... it's like getting hit with both searing pain and the worst panic attack ever all at once. There's also an incredible amount of overstimulation going on... colors go insane, everything is way too bright and noisy, and there's this strange anger that makes you all weird and violent (kinda like when you get way too overstimulated and start lashing out, which I guess makes sense).

And sure, it's dark once you're in the cellar, but the cellar is also full of dark, churning water that's impossible to swim in while you're shaped roughly like a horse- and that forces everyone to form these weird pillars along the edges. From there, you're so close to everyone's (glowing) eyes that it's not truly dark anymore... it's only mildly painful by then, but it's bright enough that you can't truly dissasociate/"fall asleep" and that's... awful.

I don't know if anyone else has had this experience, but if you've ever tried to wake up from a fever but been so warm/sick you couldn't move... it's like that. Constantly falling into and resurfacing from a fever-dream-like state, having a vauge notion of how much time has passed and being haunted by it, having this aching feeling in your chest and limbs from how terribly bored and restless you are, knowing you want to wake up but not quite being able to... it sucks really bad. Don't abstract guys, it's. It's bad.

Yknoww, this is a little fucked of me to say but

I wish I could reabstract.

I dont recall alot of what abstraction feels like, I know it felt peaceful and calm

I want to go back to that and not have to deal with this fucked up life

Little bit of sad Jax lore (specific to me I guess) is when I formed we’re pretty sure i was abstracting before I came into the sys. We had this anxiety attack out of nowhere while we were at work and could barely breathe and it sucked.

I was so disassociated and felt like I was dying. Worst part? Host didn’t know we were a system at that time and thought I was a kin -_- this dumbass. Granted being a system is usually covert, but also host is stupid.

He says I’m allowed to say that. So.
