You had just arrived home from grabbing coffee with Sabina when Alfie comes down the stairs, a big smile on his face.

“What do you think, bun?” He raises his eyebrows at you pointedly.

—IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE a regular ’the fellas’ pod episode. alfie was sitting on the couch, cal and chip sitting across from him as they talked about anything and whatnot. if you scrolled down to the comment section, it was a whole different story. what alfie thought was a simple conversation — he didn’t realise he spilled his feelings unintentionally.

“nah-nah, all i’m saying is — when i first dated sabina, i knew i was fucked when i started texting her before i texted the lads group chat” josh stated. “sabina door” alfie giggled, making chip burst into laughter. cal looked at the two in confusion then at the camera “i’ve seen that clip y’know, i don’t get it” cal said with a raised brow. “it was when i was streaming with chip-“ 

“speaking of streaming!” josh interrupted alfie. “sorry for the interruption but, d’you have any games or guests coming into stream anytime soon.. other than me” josh questioned. “ermm- i- uh, y/n and i are planning to play a horror game together soon cause we played the first part like last week so” alfie clears his throat, trying to hide his smile even at the thought of you. “you’ve been hanging out with y/n a lot lately” cal added. “why? s’that a bad ting?” alfie questioned, a light smile on his but his tone weary. “no-no, there’s a lot of clips of you two together s’all and i’m sure people are expecting something” cal shrugs “yeah y’know how fans are when you interact with woman” josh added with a nod. “not you though — your mum  is probably the only woman you’ve interacted with” alfie barked a laugh, causing cal to snicker out loud. 

“—but yeah- like, everyone keeps saying like, ‘oohhh AB is such a melt when he’s with y/n’ or ‘it’s so obvious that he likes her’” alfie mocked in a high pitch voice as if he was a character. “and i’m just like, so what? yeah i fancy her and what about it?” he said nonchalantly, completely unaware of the words that came out of his mouth. cal and josh didn’t speak on it — even though they didn’t know much about the two of you and what you guys are like but it was an interesting conversation that went about.

a few days go by, you’re getting tagged in almost every post with the same clip again and again, even tiktok editors won’t give you a break. today, you guys were streaming at your flat, playing some horror game that alfie mentioned once or twice. you couldn’t help but feel nervous at the thought of him being there at your flat. he’s been to your place before, to the point where your neighbours thought he was living there but this was different — this time, you finally had a chance to know if he does actually like you.

you started up the stream, watching the view count go from 30 to 500 to 700 in the span of a minutes or so, having a little catch up to the chat as you set up the game and waited for alfie to show up. “mmh alfie’s taking a while, i’ll send him a text cause he’s being too slow” you joked, taking your phone out of your pocket but before you could even type a text — there was a knock at your door. “oh? speak of the devil” you giggled, “i’ll be back guys” you say to the comic as you stand up and head to the hall to see him. 

he held a white plastic bag as his free hand was leaning on the wall as he slipped off his shoes, when his head shot up, his heart picked up immediately, smiling ear to ear to the point his little fangs was shown. “well girl, how are you?“ he said casually, extending his arms out for a hug as your wrapped your arms around him — his hands slithering down to your waist at the embrace, the smell of your floral shampoo and the vanilla perfume smelled like heaven to him. 

the smell of his strong cologne was basically your oxygen when you hugged him — he was basically drenched in cologne but god he smelled good. “doing well, how’re you?“ you asked back casually as you pulled away. “doin’ alright, i bought us some chinese cause i wanted some food” he said as he glanced down at the white bag he was holding. “alright, just letting you know — i’m on stream already” you gave him a heads up, he just nodded as you both entered your room again. “hey guys i’m back” you grinned as alfie grabbed a stool and put it beside your chair. “yooo family” alfie greeted as he sat down, placing the bag on your desk as he read through the chat spamming.

as the stream goes on, the chat cannot get enough of you both, your tiktoks getting spammed with edits of you and AB every few minutes. you see a notification popped on your screen. 

‘georgeclarkey raided you with 7,000 viewers!’

you grinned “no way, thank you george!” you exclaimed as alfie waved a hello to the camera, you both scanned through the chat during the cutscene of the game when you both saw george still active.

“has y/n seen the pod clip? shutup mate” alfie rolls his eyes laughing whilst shaking his head. you look over at the gaming screen just to get jump scared. you let out a loud gasp and a soft squeal noise as you practically jumped into alfie’s arms, he held the side of your arms as your head leaned on his chest. “holy fuck! that scared the shit out of me” you let out a heavy sigh, looking up at alfie with a teasingly look on his face, the same smirk wider and snarkier. “fuck off” you groaned, pulling away but alfie’s cheeks going a little pink. actually ‘a little’ was an understatement, his face was bright pink .

a/n: in honour of ABs bday, i had to do a short lil fanfic 😚😚 and the u guys wanted ab fluff voted on the poll so here y’all go !! x

backstory: you and alfie have been dating for almost a year now and you couldn’t be happier, the only thing stopping between you and him was the distance. you seen his snap story about not doing anything for his bday and you decided to change that.

—THE RINGTONE DIALS FOR a few seconds before he picked up. 

“hello?”

“hey! happy birthday, just wanted to ring you before i go into the office” you say with a smile on your face, he smiled, his hair disheveled and messy as if he just woke up — because he did.

“oh— fuck thank you” he grumbled out, rubbing his eyes as he yawned. “sorry darlin i like just woke up so my brain s’not working right now” 

“it’s alright, i’ve gotta go anyway — i’ll ring you when i’m on my break or somethin, ok? bye love you” i say like i was in a rush. “mkay, see you — love you” he said before hanging up.

i lied.

i don’t have work, in fact i requested 3 days off so i could stay at alfie’s for a small while.

he didn’t know i was coming obviously, i plan to keep it that way. i hadn’t told anyone because i wanted it to be an actual surprise. 

i quickly made my way to the shopping centre to buy some things for him, simple calvin kleine perfume, a vanilla cake with the simple words ‘happy birthday’ on it with pink hearts around it, two bottles of wine and a big bag to put all of the stuff in there — and with that, i made my way to his gaff, a long 4 and a half hour drive away.

as you arrived, you didn’t park right in front of his driveway, you parked somewhere a little further away his house but not too far away, just far enough not to see the vehicle.

alfie wasn’t doing anything special, went to the gym, searching up good horror games to play for his next stream, the usual stuff before he got a text for you.

there you were, standing in front of him with a big shiny silver bag and a big smile on your face. “surprise!” you exclaimed with a giggle, dropping the back down as he immediately picks you up off your feet. “what the fuck?! what are you doing here?“ he exclaimed with the biggest smile ever. “just thought it would be nice to come down and see you” you smiled softly as he brings you down to your feet, stepping aside to let you in.

he takes the bag you gave and placed it on the couch. “how long are you here for?” he asked, his face still red and flushed from surprise — his smile never faltering. “hmm about 3 days” you replied. “open the bag, i’ve got stuff for you” you added, his hands rubbing his chin. “nah-nah you being here is already enough but you’ve got me things as well?” he scoffs, opening the bag to see the perfume box on top of the box of cake beside the two bottles of wine. he slowly looks up at you.

“you spoil me, you really do” he laughs, grabbing your waist and pulling you in for a kiss. he wanted to stay in that moment forever, your soft lips on his, you’re at his place, on his birthday simply because you wanted to?

he stares into your eyes like he’s fallen in love with you all over again. “i don’t know what the cake tastes like so i’m sorry if it’s shit” you joked, taking a seat on his couch. “don’t care, i only care that you’re here” he smiles. “you’ve gone all soft alf” you laughed. 

“oh trust me, i’m far from soft” alfie half-jokes, making you blush a little. “alfie!” you both laughed as he took a seat beside you, putting his arm around you and snuggling up to you. “movie and wine later?” you questioned, a low hum escaping his lips as buried his face against your neck.

after getting the piercings done, you go up to the mirror, lifting your shirt up to see a bright silver belly piercing shining on your stomach. it looked fucking sexy

it wasn’t anything too big or special, just a cute silver stud that stood out with the shiny white gem in the middle. it ended up being £60. 20 quid for the thirds and 40 quid for the belly button piercing.

i pull my shirt down and putting my jacket on as i leave the store, saying thank you and goodbye to the workers as i step out, looking around to see alfie leaning on a wall, scrolling on his phone. i walk over with a cheery smile, squeezing his bicep before his head jerks up to look at me, his expression softening when he sees my face, a smirk spreading across his lips as he leans in and wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me in for a hug. 

“hello” i giggle — trying not to be too giddy but it was kinda hard. “lemme see the piercings” he says as he pulls away, brushing the strands of hair behind my ear to see the new piercings. he bit his bottom lip and nodded. “looks good, really good — y’know gold really suits you” he nodded, making our way down the streets as we head to zara first so i can roam around with him to look for new clothes to wear. “ah thank you, i really like it.” 

“what’s the surprise you’re on about?” he questioned, looking at me up and down like he was examining me. i snickered. “oh you’ll see”

in the changing rooms, i had about 3 tops to try on and 2 lacy bras that i wanted to buy, of course alfie insisted on coming in with me. “pick which one to try on first” i say as i hold up the three hangers, one top was a plain white cropped top with a little graphic design on it, the other top i was holding was a dark blue off-the-shoulder shirt and the last top was a simple black cropped, tight fitted top with an open back. 

“try the black one on first.” his eyes staring into the top. “the bra or the top?” i grinned. “the top first, then the bra” he smirked widely, his eyes roaming my body shamelessly as i take my jacket off and hang it up on the coat hanger on the door before pulling my top off. 

alfie’s eyes never left my face, glancing down every few seconds as i tossed my shirt aside and took the top off the hanger. 

alfie froze.

his eyes glued to my stomach with his smirk never leaving his face. “is that a new piercing?” he asked, a little breathlessly. i nodded “mhm. y’like?” i asked innocently. he pulled me in close, my legs in between his as he looked up at me with needy eyes. “i fuckin’ love it.” he said in a huskier tone, biting his bottom lip as i felt his fingers trace down from my sides to the piercing, his touch almost feather like that send goosebumps through my body. “is this the surprise you were on abou’ earlier?”

i nodded slowly. “yeah..” i replied, my hands on his shoulders as his gaze never left mine. “y’know you look fucking sexy with the belly piercing.” 

“you think?” i smiled. a low hum escaped his lips as he nodded slowly. i pulled away from him, grabbing the hanger and looking back down at him. “can you unhook my bra please?” i asked softly, sweetly almost. he clenched his jaw and nodded slowly. “alright” 

i lean down, turning around. i felt his fingers bring my hair to one side as he unclasps my bra. i turn around, my whole upper body bare — my nipples stiffening due to the coldness in the changing room. alfie’s eyes roaming my body once again, to my breasts then the piercing then my face as he just stares at me in absolute awe.
