They're a victim of abuse and manipulation. They are people in the Abyss Order—like Haden—that are still see them as a tool to be used.

Blighted Sakura materials:

Notes: The Thunder Sakura branch will first be grafted onto the white tree, and then removed and planted. The Sacred Sakura branch will then be grafted onto the new Thunder Sakura, which will now have that black dragon’s blood flowing in its sap; and then the new Sakura will planted in Greenhouse XI. This Sakura will be used to nurture Subject “Rakshasa.”

3. Primordial Seawater

4. Trilunar dust (moon dust from the Crimson Moon, the Frost Moon and the Eternal Moon)

5. Electro Sovereign’s cardiac tissue

6. Rakshasa’s original body

Notes: Most of Rakshasa’s missing parts have been retrieved. The Bloodbranch Coral, Crystal Marrow and Trilunar dust will be used to form and enhance the new bones, while the Primordial Seawater will be infused into the lifeblood. Tissue samples from the Electro Sovereign’s heart will be used to craft a new heart. The Prince(ss) him/herself will provide the Abyssal energy required to power the experiment.

Abyss Mage: “Uh… Boss? I know His/Her Highness gave the approval for this, and is even participating, but…the physical vessel we’re using… Isn’t it that apothecary? The puppet created by the Electro Archon?”

Abyss Mage: “Isn’t this about creating a new Electro Sovereign under His/Her Highness’s control? I thought we’d be creating an entire body, not just a new heart and planting it into a humanoid body.”

Iniquitous Baptist: “We spotted a Bathysmal Vishap in Fontaine taking the form of a Melusine. We’ll also be testing if such shapeshifting capabilities will be possible with this subject. It’ll be more convenient this way. And if it fails, well, they still won’t be that much different from that Iudex.”

Abyss Mage: “Hm…”

Iniquitous Baptist: “What we’re attempting is a transmutation, not a resurrection, if that’s what you’re worried about. The apothecary’s soul has long since departed. This body, once it has come to life, will be little more than a mindless husk. A true puppet. Besides, the so-called Raiden Shogun, confronted with her own creation, now reborn a dragon, holding the elemental authority that she and her sister had stolen… Quite the delicious karmic irony, wouldn’t you say?”

Uh... also, I really, really do hope that Wanderer!MC's menories aren't completely gone. Considering how the last part went, they at least remembered this bitch (Abyss Prince(ss)) and their Order were the ones that caused them great harm to both their home and friends... and that their was unforgivable.

hear me out with this one:

Abyss Princess Lumine × All Four Lady Harbingers

and they're like her servants

they have to pretend to be loyal to her while secretly plotting to take down the Abyss Order from the inside for the sake of the Fatui and the Tsaritsa

so it could be like an AU where the Abyss Order and the Fatui are intent on fully eliminating each other to the point of an all-out war breaking out between both factions

but then the Abyss Order pulls a dirty move and starts attacking the citizens of Snezhnaya or some other bullshit

and then Lumine gives the Tsaritsa an ultimatum like "give me those four bad bitches and we'll leave your people alone"

the Tsaritsa is hesitant because these are HER bad bitches but the lady Harbingers agree to be handed over, promising to return with Lumine's head

so the Tsaritsa makes the difficult decision to hand the lady Harbingers over to Lumine and VOILÀ.

Lumine isn't stupid and she's more than aware that any of the four could try to kill her in her sleep the moment she lets her guard down, but that's part of the fun for her: owning four pretty pets who are still fully loyal to their previous owner and re-training them to suit her needs

because what's hotter than being a princess and having four powerful women at your feet and warming your bed with the constant risk of any of them slitting your throat at any given moment?

I ADORED seeing the Abyss sibling more just because we see them so very rarely.

The idea that Khaenri’ah is now superimposed on top of Natlan is insane to me, because what if more lay line disturbances and a Direidyth V2.0 shows up to a random Natlanese person? What are they supposed to do?

Very excited about our first in-game look at the cataclysm, I want to see more.
