Having Logan and hank thoughts…Idk what about those two that i love so much but we need more logan and hank fics!! Just imagine how much feral shit you could do with those two for example

i can’t remember the name of the fic but there was one about where Logan was reduced back to Weapon X because he had to go into the facility that was similar to it- and he went all feral because his protective instincts came up well enough that he wouldn’t let anyone touch Jubilee or Magnic and i’m just thinking of in case Logan being assured that those two we’re okay didn’t bring his mind back that he would probably spend a lot of time near the only other animalistic person in the mansion case in point Hank!

We know that didnt always like being all Blue and furry- especially since the days before past (i can’t remember if it’s canon completely in events for the X-Men universe) happened. So you haves man whose been reduced back to a hurt savage like victor- and you have a man who’s slowly had to accept what he is because he brought it out more trying to suppress it.

Just imagine all the snuggles and play fights and growls and purrs- HOLY HELL I NEED THEM

and i’ve ALWAYS loved hank! that’s why it’s so upsetting how the movies did him!! (i personally don’t like the art style of the show especially the anime because it feels heavily skipped with plot lines and pacing)

i think the tragedy of coriolanus snow is he figures out that the capitol doesn't care about him and could discard him at any moment, and instead of deciding that he needs to destroy that system, he decides that he needs to control it. he needs to work within it and have it do his bidding while he's at the top.

this thought brought to you by how i often think about arachne's family being uncomfortable at her funeral (i've already talked about this, but i'm doing it again). they're making her procession out to be an honor, but to the capitol, her death is as much a spectacle as brandy's corpse. it's being used to sell a point. like obviously, arachne lives a much more privileged life than brandy and all of the other tributes, but the capitol is taking this moment to dehumanize her too: dehumanization through glorification juxtaposed with dehumanization through degradation. (i also think about the ring's funeral but the reader spends more time at arachne's)

anyway, i have been watching a show... can you guess which one?

Gotta say, after seeing so many people call the Digital Circus ending a "mixed bag" over the last few weeks, I was almost disappointed to discover that it's effectively perfect in every conceivable way. Like, damn, y'all really had me worried over fucking NOTHING 💀

Randomly thinking of a 18 year old Buck ghost, a year or two after his family’s death all hormonal and stressed because his horns has fizzed up and for the life of him can’t get it the fuck off

he’s so pissy and itchy that’s it’s somewhat cute, he can’t focus on training or stop himself from ramming him antlers against sharp corners or objects. like a recruit would randomly run into Sargent riley furiously shaking and smashing his antlers against a dull knife for hours on end. He’s stomping and huffing like a lil bull.

Once price notices he drags him into med bay (just in case bc yk that fuzz be fuzzin and bleedin) he gently digged his claws into base of Simon’s antlers, scratching up slowly up and down chipping off sections of fuzz while Simon is just floating there all nice and plaint because holy shit this feels good.

drying thoughts but i’m just cackling at this baby buck straight pissed because he can’t get the fuzz of his antlers and is genuinely crying from how itchy and sensitive it is. Bonus if we add autistic Buck ghost who can’t STAND the feeling because it fucks with his sensory input

Katniss Everdeen: The Mockingjay

Creator Notes:

Tumblr ate my long ramble about stuff, but here is a more abbreviated version of what it said. This webweaving and the last one paralleling Katniss and Snow as defined in some ways by their actions. Obviously, the two chose to act very differently, but I like how it emphasizes the importance of agency.

Also this doesn't quite capture the dehumanizing nature of becoming a symbol (an attempt was made: 3rd quote and only showing Katniss' face once), but it does focus more on becoming a symbol/message making you larger than life. You are the message, so your actions are the message. Still, Katniss' choices and actions led to people choosing her as a symbol of the ideals of the rebellion.

Did any of that make sense? I'm unsure. This is much simpler than my last webweave, but it's been rotating around in my brain for a while!

Megalodon!Ghost and good ol LemonShark!Soap.

Since it’s still mermay I’m just gonna drop this rq

Think of this, we all know the Megalodons are extinct but what if there was a Mermega? In their universe they don’t know this creature exists since it’s hiding out at the bottom of the sea, far past were human kind have explored. And get this LS!Soap knows the deep depts of the sea are dangerous but like the little gremlin he is he still goes down there only to find MD!Ghost sleeping as a full Mega. But accidentally wakings him up and now has a MASSIVE ass shark that was told to be a myth seeing him as food.

Chat I thought of a new AU

Mutant ghost (yes this is bc of the new fucking skin shut up)

And past soap(in which I mean a year or two after he joined the 141)

Think of it

Ghost used to be a semi normal kid, sure his parents were abusive and he and his brother Tommy never really had the chance to be kids but oh well

Years later he joins the military, missions sent and completed- climbing ranks until he’s a lieutenant but something goes wrong.

He’s sent to a chemical lab that is said to be run by manual Ramba, has been going for a year and some missing soldiers were traced back there. Ghost who was said to be the most qualified was sent there with a team of four others, they get in take out a few guards search the labs.

During their spit up he is left alone tuning through files and blueprints until he finds something..interesting. A blueprint of a machine that is made to mix and blend human DNA- merge things animals people together making some sort of abomination.

Ghost getting a bad feeling takes the blueprints and leaves the room he’s in, afterwards he hears a scream and that’s where it all goes downhill.

(Skipping ahead bc I’m lazy)

A few years after ghost is captured he became one of the monsters mixed with humans who’s dna were already altered and became whatever that skin is supposed to be

I know when it comes to cod shifter aus or at least with the monster aus Simon is either a wraith or a wolf right?

Nah I don’t see that. I see Leopard Simon, to be specific Snow leopards or Panthers, I just like the idea of our poor traumatize skellie boy only purring with the 141 mainly Johnny or Price (bc those are the two he would really only trust because of the Roba incident and Ghost slowly opening up to Soap in the games)

And you know with snow leopards that they only purr with people they trust, at least as adults. I’d say the same with panthers two or even mix em to make his leopard form look like his mask so he’d have characteristics of both types.

I can’t be the only one thinking about this right? Because I’ve been thinking about this for a WHILE, especially as a Leopard lover I would adore seeing our boi be one in one of the shifter Aus since there’s rarely anything about Leopard shifters
