guys maybe anyone can share some fanfics where Ratonhnhaké:ton | Connor is the main character, but it has at least 20k words and whether has a decent romantic line, or no romance at all. any ships, but one with Dobby or Ellen would be perfect (also I don't ship him with Desmond, but would be super curious, oc/reader is fine as well)

ac3 truly is two completely different games if you do sidequests vs no sidecontent. main game only, he has no friends, his life is pure miseries, and there is no indication of what the fuck he's spending his time between murders doing.

but if you actually do the side content, (mostly talking about homestead missions rn,) you can meet his friends and watch him go "I Am Not The Lord Of The Manor" as he takes on the responsibility of the homesteads accounting, managing trade convoys, commissioning supplies from the varying tradespeople in the area, actively getting people to move into the area, paying for them to get their homes (and business, in the case of the inn), personally protecting his neighbors from robbers, and like, a bunch of other shit.

you can watch him be awkwardly friendly, badly attempt to give advice ("have you considered. talking to your crush"), run around and do things for achilles, and generally have a fulfilling life even amidst the constant tragedies he's dealing with.

all this to say: rose played the game wrong and did literally none of the side content. no homestead, no Boat Time, no "connor accidentally rebuilds the assassins because he likes helping people and they tell him they're going to help him with whatever he's up to".

It's actually extremely funny to me how pathetic haytham is as a person. Badly running through the snow begging a lady to talk to him. Committing a bunch of murders for her attention, basically. Like yeah it was all for the templar plot to learn where the grand temple was, but also, he absolutely went about it in the most wet cat way possible. What a dipshit. And then as far as I know he basically does the same thing to connor because he's like "i miss my girlfriend :( son blease be my friend :("

I once made an Assassin's Creed presentation for my school's neurodivergent student union and got to yap about it (without any major spoilers for any of the games) for a couple minutes. This was the title card.

(Side note, does the 's' at the end of Assassin's bother any of you? Like, it looks like it's upside down but it's NOT, it's perfectly symmetrical for some reason. (Also, another side note, WHY IS THE ASSASSIN LOGO ASYMETRICAL????))
