The truth is, I’m really sad and angry about this wave of hatred toward Argentina.I used to log onto social media to have fun and connect with my friends from other countries, but it’s painful to see how some people are promoting and enjoying sharing hateful posts about my country.
It’s an attack on my identity, on who I am, and on what I love to be.
I try to go back to sharing and viewing posts about the things I love, but it’s getting harder to ignore—not only the hate that’s becoming normalized towards Argentina, but also the suffering taking place within the country.
I'm writing this crying out of sheer helplessness.
