For anyone wondering HOW I managed to get my rocks where I wanted them, here’s the guide I used to do it! Be warned, it might take several hours to successfully pull it off, and it WILL include a bit of time travelling if you want it done in one day + might take a little trial and error, but once you have the basics of it down, its actually pretty simple to accomplish.

Catalog/Catalogging: Picking up & putting down an item. Unlocks the item in your catalog so you can order it later 📦
Dreamies: Villagers you really want to move into your town 😍
Hybrids: Special flower colours that grow when you breed two flowers of the same species on your island. You can’t buy these colour flowers as seeds but you may find them on mystery islands as well 💐
Money Rock: Once a day one rock in your town will spit out bells when you hit it with a shovel! Make sure to check your rocks each day 💰
Money Spot/Glow Spot: One glowing spot appears in your town a day, dig it up for bells! Plant these bells (or more) back in the same spot for a surprise! 💸
Mystery Islands/Deserted Islands/Island Tour: The islands you travel to with Nook Miles 🏝
Nook Link: A real life app you can download on your smartphone via the Switch Online app. Lets you scan QR codes & type on your phone keyboard while playing multiplayer (which is a lifesaver) among other things! 📱
QR Code: you can scan QR codes of custom designs into your game by using the Nook Link app on your irl phone. Check the #qr code tag on here 👗
Star Gazing/Wishing: When there’s a meteor shower in your town you’ll hear a twinkle noise as it shoots by. Tilt your camera up and press a (with your hands empty) to wish! This unlocks Nook Miles and a surprise on your beach the next day ✨
Time Travel: Changing the system clock to move ahead/behind in the game ⏰
Uchi/Cranky/Peppy/Lazy/Smug/Snooty/Jock/Normal: All different personality types of villagers. Effect the villager’s interactions, preferences, and all around vibe. Here’s a good list 🎭
