Flames of Rage
by A.C. Pontone
The Lost Fae #3
Fantasy | Reverse Harem | Paranormal Romance
The latest book in an exciting reverse-harem series. Everything is different now that I’ve come to Faery. I don’t even feel like the same person I used to be. I have enemies everywhere. I can't trust anyone but my Twin Flames. With their help I’m fighting to save a world I didn't even know existed until a few months ago. My name is Emma Jones and—ready or not—I'm the new queen. But will I be strong enough to fill my mother’s shoes? Flames of Rage is the third and final book in The Lost Fae, a paranormal reverse harem series intended for audiences eighteen and over.

Note: I received this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review, it is my honest opinion.
Warning: Slight spoilers from previous books
The Lost Fae is a reverse harem fantasy novel and in it, Emma is an ordinary girl who not only finds out the supernatural exists and she is one of them but that she has twin flames who are her fated mates. Emma gets to know her mates and learns about another world, Faery, and it's history but the real shocker is that Emma is fated to save this dying world. Everything has been leading Emma up to this final moment, it's up to Emma and her dragons to defeat the evil kings and save Faery, the series concludes in the third and final book Flames of Rage.
The overall feeling of the series was a quick pace and easy read, with characters that I liked and an interesting story. The same goes for Flames of Rage, I really enjoyed the story. Plot points from books one and two were realized in this book, plus more backstory was revealed and some interesting characters were introduced.
I did have a few problems with the story, one Emma and her guys. They don't trust Emma to make decisions or is angry with her for making decisions that they don't agree with and while I understand the being upset over a decision they never come to resolve those kinda moments. Some of the events went a little too quickly and could have been done better and the final thing was the ending. The ending went way too quickly and I had somehow missed how the bad guy was defeated, I got the gist of it but something got lost.
Other than that I loved Flames of Rage, I like seeing Emma with her mates and getting stronger while learning so much about Faery and coming to understand things by finding out about the past. I loved learning Faery's origin story and seeing how everything came full circle again. There were a few huge plot twists that I was completely blindsided by, they were so good. I love reverse harems, fantasy and most importantly the fae, so of course, I loved this book and this series. A.C has another series already in the works and I am interested in seeing where she takes us next.
Overall 4 stars
