So I heard y'all like slightly unhinged office ladies named Allmind.

I did a rendition of the girl boss herself! Wanted her to have that bit of unhinged energy + sinister vibe that she gonna scam your life out lol.

I feel like Allmind is so close to being one of my all time favorite villains. But not understanding really what Coral Release even is or why Allmind wants to achieve it really holds Allmind back.

At the very least knowing why Allmind wants to do it I think would have made Allmind much more interesting.

I know there is a theory that Allmind is Seria (the C-wave mutation that Dolmayan knew), but that does not make any sense to me. If so why does Allmind need Ayre? Any coral wave mutation should be fine right. Or if its specifically about one needing to be bonded to a person why cant Allmind bond to someone then?

I think Allmind´s similarities to Ayre is not a lore "they are both coral wave mutations" thing and more of a thematic thing. That Allmind and Iguazu has this parasitic, unhealthy bond where they are just using each other in contrast to Ayre and Raven´s mutually beneficial and loving symbiotic bond.

Allmind uses her "hosts" like a parasite while Ayre genuinely cares about her host. I also think having Ayre learn new skills through Allmind (realizing she can control the coral powered AC) is kind of meant to be similar to how Raven grows in skill fighting more powerful AC pilots. I also assume Ayre did something to override how Allmind was able to use the com to "shut down" Raven since Allmind does not just do that during the final fight.

Which I think is supported by some lines in Alea Iacta Est about how conflict leads to evolution. So Ayre grows because of Allmind like how Raven grows because of all their battles.
