i would prefer to die at an old age, but not super old and not where your body is decaying and giving up on you and you're hooked on some machine to live. would prefer to be surrounded with family and friends. actually ideally would want to pass away in sleep at 80/85.

even now thinking about the oh my god these are my last breaths sounds terrifying.i went through a period of my life where i just didn't want to live and i thought that dying was so much easier than whatever this was and the only reason it remained as a thought and never turned into an action was because the thought of taking your last breath terrifies me.

recently an acquaintance i knew of passed away due to an accident and it made me realise how much I'm now scared of death, and esp dying young at that cause that person isn't here anymore but i had to see how their family shattered and i don't want to ever do that to mine.

what's hilarious is I'm usually a chill person but I'm a bit irritated rn. i was on a. phone call with dad's side of family (sighhhhhhh , ugh) and they just idk how but every single one of them manages to infuriate me somehow. it's a talent at this point.

they managed to both degrade me and ask me for help in the same breath and since they are older than you you have to be fucking respectful.
