Listen, we are sooo quick to blame the teacher when the parents are the first teachers! Parents, most of teachers don’t have breaks during the day because we are helping students consistently! Not only do we work for 9 hrs. straight, but we have to work once we are home! Some nights I’m up until 2:00 AM making sure that your child WINS, but I can’t make a difference unless you accept the challenge!!! We as Black people, or like we say “the culture” should understand that education was once denied for us!! But we have to stop placing soo much emphasis on the extracurricular and focus on the curriculum!!!
