“One of the most dangerous expressions is, “We’ve always done it this way.”- Unknown 〰️ 〰️ I couldn't believe it when I walked into the building for my son's pediatrician and discovered a handicap accessible bathroom with an adult changing table! This is also the building where my son's orthopedic team is. 〰️ 〰️ Yesterday B had a wellness checkup. He is 37 inches tall and just under 30 lbs. According to my scale he is 30. He received his DTap vaccines as well as his chicken pox. About 9pm he started shivering and I could feel he was a bit warm. By 10pm last night he was running a fever of 102.9 . This is the first this has ever happened with any of my kiddos. But there is a first for everything. Anyways, it was a long night. He didn't sleep much at all. By this morning his fever was down to 99.2 then he took a long nap. It is about 130pm and temp is down to 99 which is close to normal for him. His temp is always a tad higher than 98.6.
