Hi! This is a lil’ post to tell you about an exciting addition to Just the Goods’ website… an accessibility feature that makes it possible for anyone using the site to adjust a variety of elements so the site better suits their personal needs: 🌿 adjust font size or change font 🌿 adjust or invert colours 🌿 highlight links 🌿 increase cursor size 🌿 add a reading line to make it easier to get through larger chunks of text 🌿 hide images To access this, please click on the circular icon of a person standing with their arms spread out. This icon always hovers on the middle right side of the website, no matter where you are, so you can always customize the appearance of the website, any time. Now, my next step is to look at all the product listings and make sure Alt text is correctly provided. The app is called Accessibly and was created by On The Map Marketing, but they don’t seem to be on Instagram so I can’t tag them to thank them for making this. For anyone else with a Shopify website, I highly recommend this app! Super easy to install, and no tweaks or adjustments needed! Just the Goods is written across the top with icons indicating: search, account, cart, and menu. Below that is a large rectangular image of the four products in petal, leaf, root. by Just the Goods’ range for oily skin all standing in a row with a variety of flowers including blue sea thistles, white delphinium, and dark green leaves. The products are on a soft grey background. To the right of both the product image, and the overall image here on instagram, is an example of the Accessibly icon: a thick dark purple circle with a smaller, thinner dark purple circle around the dark purple icon of a person standing with their arms spread out #justthegoods #accessibility #accessibly #websitedesign #accessiblewebsite #new #update #improvement #plantbased #vegan #skincare (at Online) https://www.instagram.com/p/CQwOqiEAyLS/?utm_medium=tumblr
