#accidentally awesome

i’d like to point out something that happened, presumably by accident, in the crunchyroll subtitles of gurren lagann, which i found so impressive that i wish i could watch something do it in its original language.

the lyrics of the opening, “sorairo days”, were left unsubtitled every time it played, for the entire length of the series, except for one time. and it was the one time that mattered. if you’ve ever watched a shounen fighting anime, any one at all, you know the one time i mean. i was moved to know those words for the first time in the moment when they had the most power.

so yeah, i feel like doing something like that on purpose could add a hell of an emotional kick to a show.

Okay, so with my hair not straightened, my haircut looks and feels almost EXACTLY like the wig I bought for my Terezi costume. I didn’t intend for it to be that way at all, but hey, I’m sure as hell not complaining. I love Terezi’s foofy hair. :3

but I will take it because for once I got subtitles with what I didn’t pay for
