Hey strangers on the internet, how does my cover art look? Any changes I should make before I run with it?

(This will be for posting the book as a serial novel on Royal Road, not printed as paperback -- yet! -- because it's already online here on Tumblr, and Amazon refuses to carry things you can get elsewhere for free.)

Anyways, this is the story of five fantasyland creatures who get turned human against their will, and go off to Beat The Wizard and get turned back. It's fun.

Nothing like reading over notes from something written a couple years back.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about the dryads with the mistletoe afros! How did I forget that? Love those. They're a parasitic thing favored by the rebellious youths. Did I even include them in the story, or just think about it?"

"And when the minotaur turns human, she's probably not used to having front teeth on the top AND bottom, since cows don't. Did I say minotaur teeth were more omnivorous? Guess I'll find out."

"How do you pick names for your characters?"

"Oh, SO many ways. For example, these two I named Tarse and Macken, because they reminded me of Pintel and Ragetti from Pirates of the Caribbean."

"I don't see the connection...?"

"The actor who played Ragetti was named Mackenzie Crook, so 'Macken.' Then I googled 'Pintel,' and found that it means two things! One is a nautical pin."

"And the other..."

"And the other is penis. Which another search told me has also been called 'tarse.' Which sounded like the perfect name for this guy."

"So it fits, then?"

"Oh yeah, he's definitely a tarse."
