I think I'm reaching the beginning of a new era
I tend to clump this year in with last year in my mind because many things are the same, but in reality, so much has changed. Last year was not a good one for me- I was down on myself, doubting my path in life. 2015 is strong. I am riding reasonably as well as I ever had- and I cannot doubt the momentum I have to let it carry me. I am confident and I am good and what I do and I deserve this success. I just got offered a sponsorship deal with an amazing riding apparel brand, which is a clear sign that I am respected within the industry. For so long I have been denying myself opportunities because I have told myself that I am not good enough, but that cannot stand any longer. I am back at the top of my game, and I need to believe it to achieve all that I can. I am ready.
Understanding that my body goes at it's own rate
that I can't compare another hair journey (especially non-4b/c type) or weight loss (esp. different body type and composition/genes,not knowing how they did it and if they even did it that it could be maintainable)
So,yeah my 5 yrs natural may not be where I thought it would, but including many failed self-trimmings that took off too much, I was eating terribly preNovember, and bleaching-I'd say my hair is fine.
I'm good. I'll get there when I get there and not abhor the process in the meantime.
