It seems we're all celebrating this month of August, and it seems I can find a couple of things to celebrate as well — if I must — so I figured; Let's.
An elaborate explanation of my completely unplanned scheme follows below the cut 🥀

Studying Now
Had been procrastinating a lot. Then had to go overseas for some family stuff. I feel refreshed. Time to study for real now. Goal for today: Finish Block 6 in 5 pomodoros.
Prep Day 8: Plot
Today I attended my NaNoWriMo class. We had a guest lecturer who presented about plotting out a novel. It was all super good information, especially for a person like me who spent all of the college learning about boring technical writing and not how to creatively take characters on a journey. The lecturer has published a few books under the name J. Warren, he is also one of the teachers at the college where the course is offered.
I liked all of his information. Some of it was new and some of it was old news (at least to me). The thing that made me think the most was when he reviewed Joseph Campbell’s The Hero’s Journey. Consider this a lack in my developmental education, but I have never read Joseph Campbell before, so this was new to me. I think I will take time this week to see if I can plot my novel using this tool.
My biggest question for myself because of this lecture was the idea of a Mentor for my main character.
Wearing my Chillin’ Like a Villain Loki Shirt. Got my laptop ready and Captain Marvel playing. Time to get the rest of the drabbles done (I have 7). If you see my on Tumblr, tell me to get off and get to writing.
