When her face was plastered all over the news and her book release was announced her mother sought her out in an attempt to reconcile, but Lana had no desire and had her mother escorted from the book signing she tracked her down at.

Lana was raised in a very wealthy family and from the age of 5-17 she was a champion equestrian, however she was never allowed to compete beyond state and never in co-ed divisions. She was pushed into riding and never really enjoyed it which is why, at the age of 18, she left the sport, the main reason being that she didn't feel as though she was being allowed to reach her full potential.
