Maybe A Little Lost | Hajime & Anyone

Hajime groaned, more than a little upset at himself. Of all the days, he picked today, a particularly hot one, to try and get familiar with his surroundings. For some reason, he decided that he’d have confidence in his own navigation abilities and left the map he had of the city at his apartment, telling himself ‘I’ll never learn the layout of the city if I keep relying on that map!’

What a mistake that turned out to be.

However, he could at least know to stay clear of areas that seemed dilapidated. Those were always kinda creepy, anyway. But as the sun began to set, Hajime realized that he really needed to find his way back home before nightfall. Luckily, there was someone nearby who seemed harmless enough. Maybe they could help direct him?

“Oh, hey!” he called, hoping to get their attention. “Could you help me out? I don’t really have an idea of the way back to the apartments from here...” Note to self: never do this again.

Rendezvous || Izaya & [OPEN]

It was just five before seven on a Friday evening, and the Scorpio Bar was beginning to really pick up in business as more people filtered in, looking forward to a night of drinking and debauchery after a long week of work. Though, of course, not everyone in the bar was there for such simplistic things. The bar, with its bustling activity and fairly affordable prices, also made for a great place to talk business. Well, it wasn’t like it was good to talk too freely in such an open space, but it was fine as a meet-up point.

At least, that was how the informant thought of it. Izaya Orihara, admittedly, didn’t make coming to the bar his hobby. Drinking was hardly his thing, and though it could make for an interesting place to people-watch, he had other preferences for that. No, his presence here meant he was expecting someone for a little bit of business. The meeting time had been decided to be seven PM sharp, and his client would be able to easily spot him at the far edge of the bar, sipping from a clear glass of water as he tuned his hearing to various conversations floating around, biding his time.

A sigh left her lips and she straightened her back. “Nothing unusual to report....mm. Affirmative.” She pocketed the phone and frowned. What a tumultuous city. Even so, the Beehive Gang was interested in the turf, and certainly it would provide a vast amount of wealth. The location was ideal, even so...to get involved with an already conflicted city.. It seemed like there were more and more gangs coming out of the woodwork.

Well, as long as the young miss didn’t get involved, she’d be fine with whatever happened she supposed. But as long as she was here, she would do her best to ensure victory would belong to the Beehive Gang. She wondered if there were any gangs here who knew of her. The fearsome Black Tiger...it was definitely a frightening reputation, but even if they did, it didn’t seem like anyone had dropped out of the running yet.

“Tsk...just what are those scoundrels up to...?” For that matter, what was up with the person who had started the whole mess? Throwing a perfectly good city into chaos... Well, it wasn’t her place to question him, she supposed. 

“Now then... I should familiarize myself with the layout of this city so that in the event I’ll have to take Ojou somewhere safe..” She unfurled the map and frowned, squinting at all the streets..only for a gust of wind to yank it from her hands. “E-eh?! What is this..! Come back here, you fiend..!” she exclaimed, taking off as she watched it fly down the street.
