I feel like my art is really stiff and loose at the same time in a way thats hard to explain. Like. Ancient egyptian style I can do just about anything if its on a flat plane but as soon as you introduce like, perspective and foreshortening and weird pov angles i become at a slight loss. hope to fix that eventually but then there's the mortifying ordeal of attempting something i know i'm not that good at LOL

I recommend Skribbl.io and similar oekaki-pictionary games. Having 1m to draw something recognizable really pushes you to do better, and realizing you can do the thing with no effort makes you want to start experimenting.

#txt #im also very aware that i rely often a bit heavily on black and white but thats partially because i hate dealign with colors and painting #and partially because usually when i find time to draw it's late at night and i have my screens on night mode and thus all the colors get #messed up so im doomed from the start a little

Your art is incredible!!!!!!! It's probably been said before, but the way you use lines, shapes, and colors is fantastic. I am always struck by the energy and flow of your art, and I find it incredibly inspiring. Especially with the new pieces and sherlock stuff, it is always a delight to see what you post next. :)

OMG! Thank you!! i appreciate it greatly... thanks for sticking with me thru long breaks from posting and random fandom ping ponging i truly never can anticipate when/what ill be able to get myself to draw. if i can manage it i hope to draw a lot more sherlock in the future cause i loved them since the bbc sherlock days but never drew a thing for them it feels long overdue at this point. i have like huge piles of snippets ive screenshotted from the books (and some excellent fic) that i hope to do more drawings of eventually but well see how busy i get.
