Okay, so for me, asexuality is a lack of sexual attraction to people. Like, I think boys and girls are cute as heck, but I don’t ever feel any desire to bang ‘em. 

A thing to remember tho is that being asexual does not equal celibate. There are asexuals out there who have sex and masturbate and they are still valid. Arousal is simply a reaction your body has to stimulants such as touch, so if you are contemplating whether you are asexual or not just know that you can enjoy sex and still be ace! That being said, there are sex-repulsed asexuals and they are just as valid as the rest of us!

Me personally, tho. I’m not sex-repulsed but I don’t see myself in a sexual relationship. So I sit through sex scenes in movies and fanfic and am not bothered in the slightest, but i just can’t imagine myself actually having sex and that’s okay. I sometimes struggle with my asexuality because while I’m secure in my sexuality, I have had people question me based solely on the fact that I can be a lewd motherfucker. I make innuendos and crack dirty jokes. And I have the filthiest headcanons about my favorite characters. So while sometimes people try to tell me that they think I’m not asexual, I know that despite what they think, my sexuality is valid. I am valid. And the people that are close to me know and understand that.
