miniseries -- BSD Characters as Musicals
see rules for what musicals qualify for this
this is not meant to be taken too seriously. this miniseries is mostly a joke. ha ha.
why? -- because he's.... defying gravity.
actually it's because it's a powerful person who's taken advantage of and then framed or accused of betraying everyone
Kouyou -- Water for Elephants
why? -- Kouyou 🤝 Marlena: trying to escape an abusive work environment with bf, and boss keeps giving orders to kill everyone. boss orders bf's death. sad. tragic.
I mean at least Jacob survived in the end. Water for Elephants is the good ending Kouyou never got
Ace -- The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals
why? -- no deep reason. I just have a feeling this guy would not like musicals. he's the titular Guy.
(I'm so sorry Paul you don't deserve to be compared to this guy. Paul my beloved <3)
why? -- It really do be like Getting abused gives you stronger magic powers!! If people mistreat you enough, you'll become powerful enough to kill them!! anyway good for them, go do violence!
Higuchi -- Legally Blonde
why? -- somehow has a high ranking position in the mafia.. seemingly so she could stick with this one guy. She's really out here reaching ranks her subordinates could only dream of going "what? like it's hard?"
Hirotsu -- Heart of Rock and Roll
why? -- I went to this with my mother and when we were leaving the theater she said "only really old people would enjoy this because the music is from the 80s"
so congrats Hirotsu your old man status is getting you onto the list.
I wouldn't have had a musical to assign him otherwise.
Gin 🤝 Viola: gender for workplace purposes. you've got your work gender and your home gender.
Tachihara -- The Count of Monte Cristo
why? -- it's the classic disguise + revenge combo. good for him <3
Elise (and Mori, by default) -- & Juliet
why? -- author and characters interact,, which is very Elise, being how she's kinda Mori's "character." It's the whole "I created you, please do what I want" and Elise going "lol. lmao even."
why? -- Q 🤝 Elsa: getting locked away because they're just 'too powerful and dangerous'
Q is literally bsd Elsa (the hottest take you'll ever read)
Kajii -- Back to the Future
why? -- just the mad scientist vibes.
why? -- Similar to Kenji, it's for the importance of community. But while Come From Away is about "everyone helps everyone," In the Heights has a lot of 'it takes a village to raise a child' energy.
he'd appreciate the adult characters looking out for the younger people in the community
why? -- unfortunately he doesn't live long enough to make his higher aspirations a reality, but he's really got that proud of your boy energy.
part three coming soon ig
these are really fun to make
