1. Being ace isn’t “not wanting to fuck” it’s not feeling sexual attraction and yes in fact acephobia exists.

2a. I didn’t compare oppressions, oppressions can’t be compared. Doesn’t matter if it’s acephobia v transphobia, or lesbophobia v transphobia, or racism v transphobia. Not how that shit works. Didn’t mention any single fucking thing like it. 

I said OP was like transphobic parents in trying to pull the “I knew better about this person than they knew about themself therefore I refuse to acknowledge how they identified”. 

Keep in mind the girl made several posts saying she was ace DAYS before her murder, was never deleted either. OP is fucking lying. OP claims she secretly contacted OP and only OP just before her murder to say it was a phase / she made it up / she changed her mind / etc. HOW does that not sound suspect to you? Oh right, because you’re an exclus and you want ANY reason to shit on ace people. 

edit: And apparently OP told you a different story too! So far I’ve seen OP say she was joking, she made it up, she meant she had a phase, she WAS having a phase, and that she changed her mind right after she said it. Again HOW DOES THAT NOT SOUND SUSPICIOUS?? ffs

2b, Also the whole “well even if she was ace we shouldn’t even associate her with her identity” thing is pretty fucking typical of transphobes, homophobes, queerphobes, etc because they don’t want us to exist. “Why do you have to bring up the queer card she died you know!” is a fucking Bad Take regardless which LGBT+ identity we’re talking about. 

Like what if she was a lesbian? What if she was trans? You know axes of oppression can intersect and that’s why LGBT+ women get harder hit than men on a general basis right??

3. I’m queer and trans and I fuck, you stupid wretch. Stripping me of my identity to win discourse points is what anti-LGBT+ people do. Like OP. Like @x--x. Exclusies gonna be exclusies I Fucking Guess. Go fuck yourself.

See above point 2a. That’s our proof OP’s lying. Is your guys’ proof just going to be “I followed her sometimes” like OP?

And actually, her identity matters. See above point 2b. It fucking matters just like it would have if she was a lesbian, etc. A THING CAN BE MISOGYNISTIC AND APHOBIC AT THE SAME TIME. Or are you one of those exclusies who think aphobia is “just misogyny” as if that wouldn’t be telling on yourselves (ie, that you’re misogynists when you mock aspec people’s experiences)?

Nobody used it for discourse. No, what happened was people spammed the ace tags with her fucking body, threats of violence, mockery, etc. Ace people also started talking about facing similar violence and their own stories of survival. YOU guys turned the second thing into “discourse” when ace people tried to mourn one of their own and tried to talk about how this shit affects them, while thoroughly fucking ignoring the first thing happening.

You can’t accuse us of “using her death for discourse” right after “even if she was lying” and defending OP as if that wouldn’t be using her death for discourse!?

i think something people are forgetting is that identity is self-made. all those posts about "homoromantic aces are gay, right? then heteromantic ace are straight" are 100% wrong a homoromantic ace is whatever they identify as. gay, homoromantic asexual, gay ace, ace, etc... a heteromantic ace is whatever they identify as. straight, heteromantic ace, straight ace, ace, etc... same with aros but with romantic and sexual switched. asexuality and aromanticism are not (other orientation in disguise). they are their own orientation

i feel u man, i'm aroace + vaguely nb and ace discourse is one of the most tiring things i've ever come across. i'm considering just blacklisting the term at this point tbh

Man ace discussions used to be fun an unproblematic, like, “oh man the ace trainers in pokemon have ace colors on their clothes! haha” and then for some reason after I came back from a hiatus I took they all decided to be homophobic assholes im so confused. Like I don’t even hardly like to tell people im ace online anymore bc I just,,can’t deal,, I Am So Tired™
