Ace Radio-- calling special contributors!

Some Aces in the community are putting together a podcast/radio show about asexuality (now: fall 2016), and we want to get more voices and viewpoints!

There are two areas where we need help:

Intersectionality

Ace Artists

1) Intersectionality - We're planning small segments in each episode on the intersection of asexuality and the following:

Neurodivergence

Race

Gender

Age

Religion

Physical disability

Trans/non-binary

Size

If you'd like to share a brief story or comment about your experience with any of the above, please email us!

2) Ace Artists - we're looking for asexual artists to feature in each episode! Unfortunately, we can't feature visual art in an audio format, but if you create music, prose/poetry, etc. please submit it for an on-air sample and shoutout!  

If you identify anywhere on the asexual or aromantic spectrums, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your content to [email protected] , or email us with any questions. (Note that while we appreciate every submission, we may not be able to feature every item received.)

You don't have to be recorded; if you'd prefer to submit an anonymous (or named) statement, someone else can read it for you. Otherwise, if you're attending an upcoming Ace Toronto event, let us know in advance so we can bring our recording equipment

Toronto Ace Radio Show

Just another reminder that the Ace Radio Show is going to be starting up soon We will be having a media Training, learning how to use the studio equipment, Wednesday August 3rd, and begin meetings for planning/ recording every other Thursday, starting Thursday August 11th. [Building is wheelchair accessible and has an elevator, in the Regent Park area / near Dundas & Parliament.]

I feel like there should be an ace radio station, where there's a whole bunch of music that's not completely revolving around sex and the obsession with sexiness. And we could have 'aro hour' (probably more than just an hour but it sounded catchy to me) where it's all sorts of songs that are just not at all related to relationships or love or whatnot. Where I do.
